Went in for a glow plug change and diagnostics. Left with a problem I didn't have before that another garage had to remedy with an additional £500+ bill. Previously had good experience but that was with basics. When time, experience, customer service, ownership and empathy was needed, fell massively short.
I always got to MJN except when they can't fit us in for one reason or another. Following an adviser for replacement break pads, I took too long to get them done and ended up grinding the plates (fault on me not acting quick enough). Ended up having to take the car to Kwikfit in Scunthorpe - the entire fix cost me £1400, an **incredible** amount.
MJN being a busy, local, family business needs to rely on trust and good word of mouth. Which is just as well because they do an incredible job of it. I had a break down last week and was rescued by the RAC it was with genuine relief that MJN could take my car, I realised then just how much I value these guys to do a good honest job.

Lovely friendly staff. They were quick to do the repairs I needed and at a good price. Added bonus of Bruce the dog to make you smile. Will definitely use again and be back for mot next year.

Friendly staff. Reception do answer the phone. The workshop is usually busy but if you plan then then they can get you in. They do recovery. I've used them for several years and never had a problem. Prices seem fair.
