Took the family for dinner last night & had a lovely evening. Excellent service, great food & great value for money. Will be back!
Really bad food and service. Grumpiest guy ever serving. We could see the grill area from our waiting area, shambolic. Our food took 30 mins, disgusting and burnt along with cold chips. Just avoid, burnt sausage, thank goodness the dog was hungry. No apology for the wait, I'm pretty sure the staff just couldn't care less. Definitely a place to AVOID!!! I did complain on my way out and the incompetence from the waitress was don't tell me, tell the manager. Absolutel disgusting. Just go elsewhere!!!!!!!!! I think they forgot some of our order so chips etc were left in the fryer for too long as they prepared our forgotten order. First and last time at this place.
Disappointing. I had a takeaway box of "Large Haddock Supper" for £11.95. Seems they have renamed Small, Medium and Large to Regular, Large and Jumbo. The fish was regular size in any honest chip shop. The fish was OK, some people might even like batter so thin that you can see large areas of fish through it. Each to their own, it was edible. The chips were pretty bad. Heavy, undercooked, no sign of finishing them in hot oil to crisp them up, and curiously tasteless. A lucky gull had one, the rest were for the bin, they would have been hard work to eat. When you charge a higher price than most, you need to get it right.
Nice fish and chip shop. The batter was not too thick and crispy, the portion of large haddock was quite impressive. The breadcrumb one was well fried, dried and crunchy. The only bad thing was they ran out of fish supplies and there wasn’t other offerings but haddock on the day. The chips were good, not overcooking and crispy. The staff were nice and friendly. Well seated with nature lighting. Decently priced considering it is a dine in with service.
One of the best meals we have ever had during our travels, very good portions, price was ok. Staff was little bit lazy not paying attention who wants to order.But again food was absolutely delicious.
Tonight my husband and myself popped in for our supper, we were welcomed by two very smiley and happy waitress! They were very efficient and took our orders fast and were obviously happy at their work! It’s great to see in particular young folks enjoying their work, it certainly made our experience fun and comfortable!

As always, simply delicious. Beautiful fresh fish cooked to perfection. Generous helping of everything. Very helpful staff when it came to ordering gluten free food. Well done to the team. ????
Not a impression from when i use to go in . Totally changed from a lovely clean look . To sticky table chair dirty on the back . Staff where brushing floor while customers where eating. Soup and half a sandwich. Well not really worth it as i remember it use to have a small bit off salad or some crisps but not now for 2 bowls of soup the soup was spilt . # watery . 20 pounds doesn't seem a special. Sad to when a lot off us use to remember ????
