The best Mexican food I've had in the UK. The guacamole is delicious with lots of fresh avocado and tomatoes. Had the three taco meal and the carnitas (pulled pork) was well seasoned and tender. It was clear all ingredients were fresh. Even watched them make tortillas! Everything was flavorful and seasoned without being spicy. The staff are friendly and warm.
This was my second visit to the restaurant, on my own for a light lunch this time. I chose the Tuna soup with crispy plantains and was very happy with this tasty and delicious broth which was packed with tuna. To accompany the food I treated myself to the classic magherita, which I was told by Coco the manager, I could have for free if I failed to enjoy it! Little chance of that as it also was very enjoyable. I love the enthusiasm of the staff for the great food and their obvious pleasure when it is positively received. There is a laid back atmosphere with Mexican & South American music playing in the background and interesting foodie items to purchase for home cooking. If you find yourself in Hexham looking for something different from the norm, then I can thoroughly recommend Little Mexico, you won't be disappointed!

Great food (and margaritas) and really friendly service. We were made to feel very welcome and could quite easily return time again for a taste of everything else on the menu, but I would probably keep getting swayed towards the specials. Great addition to Hexham.
Glad I found this place on my day out today. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the food and drink was delicious. I had the beef brisket burrito with a side of guacamole. To drink I had the refresher, which is made from cucumber and pineapple.
Found this little restaurant when staying near Hexham. Beautiful and best mexican food ever had, very nice authentic cocktails. We had nachos, burritos and churros, all very tasty. Highly recommended and will definitely eat there again when in the area.
First time at Little Mexico and we loved it. Started with cocktails and then shared the Classic Platter with our choice of fillings for the Burritos and Tacos. Fantastic food and service and couldn't eat it all so brought 2 burritos home for lunch today. Will be back and also given us another take out option for food in Hexham.
The best Mexican food around and the owners are very friendly, which creates a great atmosphere.
We visited on a Thursday afternoon, there were plenty of seats and decor is really cool. Prices are reasonable for authentic Mexican produce.
Update: since our initial review we’ve been back quite a few times and it has never been short of amazing, both the service and food are top quality. Genuinely a gem of a place.
