I heard about it from a friend who didn’t highly recommend it but that day I was hungry so I thought I’d drop by. A bit disappointed to be honest. The service was very slow and I had to wait in a very long queue. Finally I got the fish in the pic. For 950 it was too small, mostly batter and the chips were not also very good. The fish itself tasted good but shame that it was so small.
Very expensive. Tiny portions. Food was Ok to poor. Very greasy. Kids sausage supper and 2 small chips was £9.90.
No such thing as cheap as chips here.
Overall not good value for money as I'd be pained to return.
So expensive for nothing, £29 for 2 fish suppers and a chips cheese and curry. Portion sizes were so terrible, and my mum says the fish size was like a gold fish. Definitely not worth it
Awful, expensive... this is supposed to be a large chips! My local chippy a few miles away costs £2 for a small chips that is for 50% more chips than this... I even queried with the counter staff if that was it for £4.40... rip off and the quality was poor. Not going back.
While I can't speak for the fish and chips themselves, what I can say is two things: the ice cream was wonderful and I had the most embarrasing moment of my life here.
Great selection of chippie staples as well as an ice cream stand in the corner. We got to see all the chippie staples as we joined the chippie queue by mistake. If anything its a plus because the queue moved so fast it was kind of like a fairground ride!
Anyways, if you're in the market for Ice Cream, dont go to any of the rip off places in the park just come here. Good honest ice cream at a reasonable price. Dont know what that other lady was on about with the staff, they were all lovely.
Awful! We had fish and chips here tonight and it was £18 for two and I can honestly say it’s the worst I’ve ever eaten.The fish was like rubber and the batter was soggy!
Definitely won’t be going there again!
I like my chips well done and they did just that. Popped them back in the frier and yum! The fish batter is tasty too. Served with a smile.
Got large fish and chips. Portions were tiny. 1 fish cut down the middle and battered not 2 like everywhere else. So disappointed. Used to be good but wont be back. Wished i had looked at the reviews first.
