Come in for a scan, really friedly staff, no waiting time either. The place was in very decent condition specialy since its a building from 1990.
Staff kind, helpful and friendly. The place needs a repaint waiting area was bleak. Felt like I was waiting on bad new
Tuesday 4th July 2023 9:30am.
It was the first, and hopefully the last, time I've been to the Hollybush Medical centre.
There is inadequate car parking, I don't mind walking, but there was nowhere close to park on the road either.
However, I did get a spot after driving around for a bit.
It was a bit confusing at the reception, the first window is not used and the second window is in the waiting room around a corner.
I was asked if I was there for a scan, my name and was told to take a seat.
20 mins after my appointment time I was called in for my scan.
The room the scan was performed in however was, in my opinion not fit for purpose.
It was cluttered and dingey, with cob webs on the ceiling, which I noticed as I had to lie on my back for the scan.
When I'd finished I went to use to feedback monitor as requested by numerous posters, but was told it wasn't working.
Overall, a very poor experience.
Went today for a ultra sound today I don't normally go to this one and won't be going again i thought the lady was very rude who done my scan am still fuming
First visit there , quite shocked.
1. Waiting room had broken chairs,
2. Rubbish on the floor, filthy carpet
3. A small bathroom size bin with a large size bin liner flowing onto the floor in the waitingroom.
4. Toilet seat dangerously broken,
5. Curtain for privacy in scanning room goes around the radiographer not the patient so the ' provided chaperone can see all'
6. I was given the size of a 1 piece kitchen roll to wipe the gel off my stomach.
7. I went to put it in the bin (normal house bin, not steralized containers), but it was broken so you couldn't lift the lid.
Makes you so thankful for the NHS and the nurses who genuinely care for you.
Tried to make and appointment and see gp for 5-6 times now and each time they find a different excuse to give to call in next day. There is lovely star for your hard work!
Was sent here from my own GP surgery for a scan.
Staff friendly.
Waiting room clean.
Definitely do not go here. The nurse was very unpolite and they don't listen to your actual problem. They also gave very uneducated advice.
