The cafe wasn't very busy, a Wednesday, so we took our granddaughter in for lunch. Order our drinks and food. First thing we noticed was the tables were dirty. Staff were just standing about. I took almost 10 minutes to get our drinks. After 30 minutes we had to ask if our food (two cheese pananies), would be much longer? We noticed them just sat on the counter, the waitress said she would hot them up and did we want to take them with us as a takeaway meal!?
We said we would wait. Sometime later she brought them to the table in takeaway boxes!!
Will never visit this place again. Not even an apology, we were waiting over 30 minutes, disgusting.
Best pizza we’ve had in a long time. Cider was good too and it was reasonably priced. Only slight downside is the loos are a job to find. But apart from that this place much deserves a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
First time coming in here for something to eat. While eating notice staff standing behide the bar on there phones while tables needed cleaning and there was also a dog water bowl on floor which had been spilt all over and someone could of slipped on the wet floor. There was only a handful of people in the shop. Also teapots were badly marked
Great place staff was exceptional, we had dogs with us and they said we would be able to take them in brilliant but the sun was shining ???? so stopped outside. Food was loverly ????????
Delicious range of cakes, coffees, waffles, crepés and pastries. We had Cornish pasties, which were amazing, not too peppery and full of flavour. Followed by a Halloween themed chocolate cake and lattes. Awesome well worth 5 starts.
Honestly never knew this cafe was there. The staff were wonderful they got our baby's bottle warm and the cake was lovely. Honestly a genuinely nice place and they weren't expecting us to buy anything. There was no pressure to buy anything and I offered my expetise when they had an electrical problem. Absolutely lovely place
The service was absolutely ridiculous. The young lass who ever she is should not be in the job. Her manners were ridiculous. Asked for 2 lattes. Bad manners she just said what and ok. The lattes were cold. She just put them on the table half full in the cup. Cold and horrible. Won't be going there again. Skegness is full of idiots
Modern, stylish and clean café in the gardens near the clock tower. Serves Costa Coffee drinks which are great, but the food offering is so much better than Costa. Excellent choice of freshly made panini, baguettes, pizza and ice cream. We had a chicken, pesto and cheese panini that had plenty of filling and the hot drinks came with a Biscoff biscuit too.
