The best fish and chips I've had in ages. Good value. Inside seating if weather is iffy. Will go there again.
You can't visit Betws y coed without eating here. It's the best chippy in the town. Very busy but worth the wait and you can sit next to the river eating. Seagulls can be a problem but not as bad as the seaside. It's no more expensive than anywhere else tourist wise, and you know your getting quality food. Staff are lovely too. Last time I came here they let me sit in as they were opening and seating area wasn't open. as I have a non verbal autistic son, and we're ever so good with him. Top quality views, service and food xxx
We were recommended by a friend to try this chippy and it’s loaded chips. I read the reviews, especially the bad ones. Sorted the wheat from the chaff and went anyway. Friday evening in April. The 5th to be precise. Very nice member of staff took the order and explained there would be about a 5 minute wait. Fish chips and curry, and a #3 loaded chips. £20, about similar to Manchester. Very nice it all was. Would I recommend it? Well yes I would. Not sure how you rate the atmosphere of a chippy though.
Friendly staff with reasonably priced fish n chips. There’s a small amount of seating inside with some more outside with a view overlooking the river if you’d like to eat in, the view is beautiful. No complaints, if I’m ever in the area I will be back ????
We visit the village regularly and every time we cross the bridge the fish and chip aroma catches you, so we decided to grab some. It's a little pricey but very nice so it's a trade off. Will certainly stop and buy again though if we're hungry!
Great fish and chips from here, we saw the mixed reviews but thought we'd give it a go and we're glad we did. We visited at pretty much peak time on Sat eve (in April) and the wait time was only 5-10mins. Would recommend!
We went to get some fish and chips on our last day in Wales. Unfortunately we did not listen to the bad reviews.
We got served the worst fries we have ever eaten (soggy and cold). The fish was alright. We received no napkins. The service was unfriendly.
Friendly helpful staff. Great tasting food, chips were clean and fresh. Really nice fish and chip shop. They also do scooped ice cream. Dining area was closed on our visit but there is a small seating area outside to the side of the building by the bridge, overlooks the river. Pricing in line with neighbouring businesses.
