Such a lovely little shop with welcoming staff! The bread is nice and fresh and they definitely don’t scrimp on the fillings for a very decent price. You can get both hot or cold sandwiches from 7:30am so perfect if you’re heading out for a long walk and need to get breakfast AND lunch! They’ve even got a zero waste shop inside with lots of different items from laundry liquid to flour to local honey. Will definitely return when in the area!!
I've been to a number of sandwich shops in Peak District, and this one remains to be my favourite. It's a nice little shop with great staff. Make a killer bacon and egg sandwich to start a morning.
The best place in Hathersage for a takeaway lunch for hiking. My husband and I came here by chance and wished we'd found them sooner. Their sandwiches come in small and large, but the small is more than big enough and great value for money. We really loved their vegetarian options as well. Had a brie, salad, and spiced apple and pear chutney special most recently, and they didn't scrimp on the filling. Would thoroughly recommend!
Best place for food to go in Hathersage by far! This time I had a Flapjack and a Large Chicken BLT (and it was big) before a walk. Lovely food, Friendly staff, Good portions, Cooked fresh to order, BOSHH!!
Popped in to grab a treat after my hike around the local area.
Staff were friendly and have a good contactless system set up for the customer.

Great sandwiches nice staff. You want a top sandwich, sausage roll, bun or a beautiful hot sandwich come here. Worth the travel 2 ..
Had a couple of baps in readiness for our walk, delicious! Friendly place and the cakes looked amazing, will definitely pop in again for those.
Really poor cheese n onion sandwich, cheap bread roll very dry , was there any butter or Marge on it ? Hard to say skimpy with the onion…,, very dissatisfied looked like a great sandwich shop but won’t go again.
