Rang to enquire about whether the pharmacist could diagnose my son or whether he had to wait for a GP appointment. Pharmacist saw us straight away and diagnosed my son and prescribed antibiotics within 10 minutes. Cannot fault service. Thankyou very much!
Attended this pharmacy for a COVID vaccination as a result of booking an appointment on line.

Attended for covid jab yesterday, very straightforward however as a retired vaccinator for the hospital, l have given thousands of vaccinations. The lady who administered the jab should explain the side effects of the vaccination. Possible sore arm, slight raise in temperature .
Only part filled a prescription (11 days from a 3 month prescription), heard nothing since. Chased-up once after a couple of months and they just said again they'd order it, again, nothing since. Given up.
Edited 17.07.23, the pharmacy has attempted to contact me after I left the negative review, 2 missed calls since. I was never told about any SMS service. I specifically enquired about how I'd be contacted when I first left the prescription and was told you had the phone number.
Absolutely brilliant service all the time. The staff are so lovely and helpful! I cannot complain about anything. The ladies behind the counter are wonderful and the ladies behind are always happy and smiling.
As someone who dislikes any form of shopping, this is one place I am always happy to go to. The staff are really helpful, friendly and fun to speak to and it’s like a little Aladdin’s Cave with bargains everywhere. Well done Hartshill Pharmacy.
I wanted piriton as it’s the strongest antihistamine but I told it would make me drowsy so the person at the till recommended allevia. Allevia at 120mg is for hayfever and not a covid rash. This is very annoying as the person clarified whether I wanted it for a rash and said it’s a good one but it’s the wrong dose. I know they were trying to help but why not ask one of the pharmacists rather than risk giving the wrong thing!
I had a Covid vaccination with the pharmacist- who was very informative and helpful with all my concerns- I would certainly recommend Hartshill Pharmacy
