It's not often you get a marriage proposal without making an effort.
Great venue, lovely people, good beer at a great price. A thoroughly enjoyable evening spent watching a great band.
Went to see a band a couple of weeks ago . Unfortunately the band was starting later than advertised so could not stay . However friendly staff . Plenty of space with 2 bars . Ample parking space outside centre of village and easy to find . Will go again with more time if I see a band that I would like to see .

Cracking pint of Hooky served here, tea and coffee also available.
Enjoyed an evening of "folk" music, some more traditional than others. Good night out
