Ordered via Just Eat, confirmed by restaurant at 13:41 to arrive around 14:13. Driver still at restaurant when I checked JE for an update at 14:17, pushed back to 14:27. Still no food by half past, app showing driver nearby, food arrived at 14:36. Driver apologised for delay & said it was apparently due to a wait for sauces.
Very disappointed in the standard of food for the price I paid. Tried to design my own pizza with basil, mozzarella, Parmesan, ‘nduja & pepperoni - it would’ve worked out £19.00?! I was honestly fully expecting restaurant standard food, instead, most of it went to waste unfortunately! I’ll try to be constructive with my criticism:
Lasagne al forno (£5.95) - Couldn’t fully open lid as it had melted into the box. Tub of oil & mince swimming about side to side, lucky if there were two thin layers of pasta & didn’t appear to have any cheese whatsoever?!
Garlic bread (£3.50) - Four pieces of soggy bread. Both my partner & I tried a slice each, both of us gagged & spat it out! Had a horrible, damp taste.
Tomato bruschetta (£3.50) - Slice of the same bread used for the garlic bread (as mentioned above) with a layer of chopped tomatoes & two slices of basil underneath it. Average at best.
Jalapeño sticks (£3.50) - Banging! Good sized portion too!
Pollo burger (£9.00) - Okay, but chicken was bland (didn’t appear to be marinated or seasoned). Chips were good though!
Drinks (£12.00) - Ordered 500ml bottle of Cola (replaced by 4 cans instead which isn’t an issue - appreciate that very much!), salted caramel pretzel & Oreo milkshakes were unreal (but plastic straws?!), Rauch Pear is beautiful btw!
Left a review on Just Eat, got offered to call if I wanted a discount off a future order, but first impressions stick & I won’t be using the restaurant again.
Excellent! Today It was my first visit and I and my friend we are absolutely love it. Delicious true Italian pizza, very tasty bruschetta and of course Italian cake. Amazing!!! I would like also say, that Gondolina Staff is very friendly and focus for guests. To add to all above - prices are competitive. This was my first time but not last, for 100% :).
Ordered through just eat, massively impressed by the quality.
Everything was cooked perfectly and it was the first time my family liked everything and agreed that this is our new favourite place! ????

Booked a table here for a quick bite to eat, the interior is amazingly decorated and very fresh looking, the staff and owner are so welcoming and friendly and make you feel at ease from the second you walk inside. Then the food. The liver pâté was so smooth and full of flavour accompanied by fresh in house made bread (amazing) the sea bass salad was amazingly cooked, flakey but beautifully moist. The deserts selection is amazing also. I would recommend this amazing restaurant to all. Go in and give it a try, you will not be disappointed. Thank you to Fausto and his amazing staff for making my dining experience so great. Will definitely be back.
Very good, authentic tasting Italian food at reasonable prices. Plus the service alone was worth more stars than what's available to give. ????????????
My oh my oh my... We tried their Margherita and Diavola pizza tonight and can honestly say it's the best Italian pizzas we've had (bearing in mind my fiancé's family are Italian and experienced the freshest of pizza's off the beaten track in Italy).
Highly recommend this new gem of a place!

Just had lunch with my best friend in this friendly place. Nice ambiance, good vibe and excellent food. Everything was perfect. The prices are more than decent. Definitely recommended!
Been out for a lunch couple days ago. Great pizza and chicken milanese.Very good value for money.Friendly and welcoming staff.Recommend to everyone.
