My family and I are probably here 4/5 times a week. They bake the best bread and rolls plus a great variety of cakes. The all female staff are always happy to spend time with you, with a smile and a chat. The only down side is you need to get there early to have anything of your choosing, because they are so popular they sell out of our favourite items early.
I’ve had bread from both stores recently that was so nice I just had to write a review. The sourdough is spot on. Staff are friendly and the premises was very clean. All in all very good. The Belgian Buns are decent too. ????????
I have used this bakery for many years, excellent quality, good prices. My last two visits the staff could not be more pleasant. Clean, well laid out store. Sometimes have to q, but that demonstates their popularity.
Unfortunately I had a terrible experience at this bakery today with rude staff. I completely forgot to put my mask on, it was in my bag. Instead of politely reminding me to put my mask on when I entered the shop all staff members rudely served me and only reminded me once I was about to leave saying ‘I’m not being funny or anything but you’re supposed to wear a mask in here.’ If the object of staff reminding customers to wear masks is for safety it would be prudent for them to politely remind customers when they enter the shop (to prevent transmission of germs) rather than use it as a way to rudely humiliate a customer when they leave (when transmission could have already occurred).
Really helpful and nice staff , I’m gluten free and so suprised to find a bakery that does it , this is amazing bread best I’ve ever eaten , thank you so much can’t praise it enough
Lovely bakery with yummy donuts and very lovely work force. No pictures I am afraid. They only take cash so keep that in mind to get money at first.
Lovely bread and rolls baked on the premises. Nice selection of cakes. Makes really lovely sandwiches.
The staff in Hockley branch are really lovely and make my visit worth it and the carrot cake is the best ????
