My golf broke down (starter motor stopped working) when I was in Derby. Was recommended the garage by friends and they fixed it within a day. Great price, quality service, highly recommend.
Wonderful garage. The owner, Gurdi is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He has been very helpful with my ageing BMW to keep her going well and very fast to respond and quickly sort out problems so I can stay on the road. Gurdi does all this with kindness. Had a book an appointment for an oil change at short notice. The whole job was completed within 4 hours. As I walked into Town to do other things. Very happy. Will use again.
We have been using GL Autos for a number of years for everything from routine services and mot's to a gearbox replacement, head gasket repair and even more complex issues that needed diagnosing. The owner Gurd is an incredible car mechanic, and I can not recommend their services highly enough. From start to finish, they go above and beyond to ensure that my car is running smoothly and efficiently.
Not only are they extremely knowledgeable and skilled in their work, but they are also incredibly kind and patient in explaining everything to me. They take the time to answer all of my questions and provided me with valuable insights and recommendations for maintaining my car's health.
Throughout the entire process, they are professional, friendly, and communicative. They keep me informed every step of the way and make sure that I understand what is going on with my car.
The prices are always fair and reasonable, and we feel like we receive an amazing value for the quality of work they provide.

I can't emphasise enough how good this company is! They really went out their way to help me get my dad's car sorted, going above and beyond the norm with a difficult situation. The most trustworthy, honest and reliable garage I've ever come across, I'm massively grateful for the help they provided in quickly fixing the car. Consistently great customer service since first MOT + service 5 years ago. GL Auto offer extremely knowledgeable, experienced, reliable and friendly support every time at a amazingly low cost. Today my VW Mk7 Golf cam belt change + service + MOT was only £397, says it all!
A good garage is hard to find these days, even harder is one which offers great value for money as well.
Can't recommend this place more highly enough, you wont regret it!
