As a foodie I know when food is fresh, I just sent my wife in to buy some food and the donner meat was apparently supposed to be fresh, the burner was off and they reheated the donner meat and guess what it's all dry and burnt.
Stop selling your food if you can't provide hot food that's not been sitting there for ages, completely ruined my appetite with your dry burnt meat. Never again.
Chips were cold,saveloy I wouldn't feed to a stray and one of the pies actually off with best before date rubbed off of it but I know bad meat when I taste it,diabolical waste of £14 turns out I can't send a review without giving one star,wouldn't even give that if given the option
I ordered a cod and chips. The fish was stale, old and smelled really bad
Ordered a battered cod x2! There was so much more batter than actual fish, the batter had an off smell and slimey undercooked texture, completely inedible and went straight into the bin as soon as we got home. Called up to report the undercooked food and the lady said it was perfectly fine and nothing could be done! pretty much said “oh well, tough”. Poor customer service and will never return. Ruined our Friday night takeaway
Confused to the negative reviews this place is lovely. Family run amazing service and lovely chips. Ordered myself a battered sausage only negative is that i didn’t get more. Definitely coming back!

Was really hoping to have a decent fish and chips in the area, but am sorely disappoint with the £12 fish and chips we had last night.
I lived around the area now for 3 years never have I tried this fish and chip shop. Iv read reviews, some good and some bad but I thought I’d give it a try.
I read on one of the the comments the fish smelt...Well the person wasn’t lying! I’ve never had fish like this in my life. I could tell the cod had been frozen, it had a frozen watery taste/ smell once you bit into it. My wife also tasted her cod and nearly puked up. The batter was like pulling an old carpet tile up it was stuck to the fish it taste like rubber. The fish texture was so mooshy, we both had one bit and threw it in the bin.
