Fairly nicely decorated interior with a log bench in the middle.
The food was decent enough for the price with a selection of pizzas, burgers and BBQ items.
The service in the other hand was sub-par where it became quite a challenge to get the waiters attention.
The portion of chicken breast was generous but their coleslaw was salad cream with some vegetables. The burger in the other hand had a great blend of toppings and good handful of chips.
We regularly come here for lunch... the bacon jam in the Funky Wood burger is really awesome, but I always end up ordering the ribs, which comes with homemade coleslaw with a hint of curry sauce to it! No idea why it's not busier at lunchtimes because it certainly deserves to be...
Restaurant serving the best burgers in Maidenhead (in their opinion).
Burger was fine, the patty well done (I expected medium). Very tasty, also chips and salad.
Sweet potato chips weren't cross. Peppercorn sauce had a strange consistency, it was too liquid.
Three draught beers in the menu, none available due to late delivery. After one bottle of beer: sold out ... ????

Food is good. Staff are a little distant from commitment to customer. This is promoted as the best Burger place in Maidenhead but when I requested that the fillings in my Burger be modified the response was " We can't do that"! And I was forced to order something else. When sitting at table the cutlery was dirty as per photo.
Service staff were really nice. The food was OK. The price was good. It took over an hour though from walking in (with a reservation) to having the food delivered. Food is served on a tray to make it look like a bigger portion. Needs more staff. The servers were rushed off their feet trying to cater to everyone. It could be a really nice place but has some logistical challenges to deal with.
Great service and friendly staff. Love the decor, very cozy. Food was well done, no complaints. Nice variety on the menu. Took a little longer to receive our order than we'd have liked, but nothing outrageous. Overall a great little place for lunch/dinner!
Very spacious and clean restaurant,v recently opened. Good menu choices for vegetation but mainly a meat menu. Excellent signature burger with delicious french fries. Ribs were enjoyed by my son as was the fish that my wife had. Food prices were very reasonable and we were too full for dessert!
Clean toilets, good service, my only negative is the price of soft drinks. However, would definitely return to try try of menu.
Very mixed opinions on this place. The service from staff was average/good. The Calamari starter was amazing, and the presentation led me to believe we had found somewhere really special.. the ribs main course looked like it had been thrown onto the plate with a dollop of coleslaw and a few chips, no garnish or anything, I present better from cooking at home and I also just throw it on a plate. Started great and finished very average.
