I stopped by this town centre cafe for a quick bite between appointments, and it wasn't very busy despite it being a Friday lunchtime. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and I was served immediately. I had a tuna and cheese jacket potato and I was served my food within 5 minutes. The jacket was overdone, but I was given a very generous helping of tuna and cheese, which made up for it. The cafe itself was clean and well maintained and so were the toilets but they are up several flights of stairs so not suitable for disabled people.
Great Pizza home made Garlic and Parmo on A Friday only is a let down as many people go to town for Market days
And Zero card machine so if use a buy now pay later card no way to use great food mind
I hope card comes back even if have to charge to use it to pay the fee the Cafe gets
Went in for a full English breakfast it was phenomenal staff are very friends and it's cheap too will return again
Gone down hill . Sticky tables and loud people.
Staff's friends . Food can't comment but did not look good.
Very nice cafe food very good lovely atmosphere nice and clean very good cuppa
I went here this morning and had the Big Breakfast, absolutely amazing as always, also glad to see they now offer hash browns as an additional extra, the one thing I always thought was missing from the almost perfect breaky. My Mrs had the chicken parmo with chips & salad, she thoroughly enjoyed it and I must say it did look damn good. As I was leaving I didn’t get chance to thank the lovely staff for the amazing food as it was the lunch time rush and they were all mad busy. I thought I would leave a review instead. I can’t recommend this place enough, great home cooked food at great prices.
I went here for the first time today and had a good experience. When I first walked in the layout of the place is a bit dated and it looks like they are stuck in the 80's or 90's but there is nothing wrong with that I suppose.
I ordered the beef dinner for £4.90 and I took a seat, within two minutes my meal came out. This leads me to believe that they make a lot of their stuff beforehand and then keep it warm somewhere for future consumption.
The meal overall was good, there is nothing about the dish I could fault. The service was ok, they were not exactly warm with you but they do get busy so I can understand why they seem a bit serious. I would definitely come back here again.
Never had a bad experience, food is lovely & always hot. There's not often a long wait & the staff are lovely.
