Always a bit late but still tasted nice. We ordered early in the day so it was freshly made and still warm.
Passing through and the shop caught my eye I fancied an ice cream, asked about the whippies I saw advertised, the girl snapped they aren’t ready and won’t be for another 30 mins. No acknowledgment tor waiting to see if I wanted anything else and walked off. I felt like an inconvenience and awkward. I ordered another icecream bubblegum and vanilla, which was really nice. I wouldn’t go back because of the service.
Great waffles and pancakes but delivery times are the worst... We placed our order at 17:09 and we received an email letting us know that our food was on its way at 18:05. We phoned just before that to find out what was going on with our order of a waffle and a pancake and we were assured that our food should be with us in about 10-15 mins. The food didn't arrive until 18:30 which is absolutely ridiculous considering we live about 10 mins away from the shop. It would have been far easier to go and collect if we knew it was going to take that long.
0 STARS!! Waited outside in the freezing cold and rain for a waffle I was told would take 10 minutes. Nearly an hour later still no waffle. Me and my partner was the only was there they looked at us and just carried on didn’t apologise or nothing. We aren’t down Devon often so really wanted to treat ourselves only to walk away empty handed and freezing cold and soaked through. Disgusting.

Lovely dessert shop in Ilfracombe harbour. Friendly staff. We were surprised to find the shop open around half past nine at night. We sat outside the shop in the benches and enjoyed the lovely view of harbour and the cliff. We tried a few icecream flavours from this shop, loved the biscoff flavoured icecream.
Ordered two items: a ‘Fleury’ which was light on the ice cream and heavy on the crushed Oreos and chocolate sauce which is just how I like it so no complaints about that, however the second item was a ‘thick shake’. This was incredibly disappointing. Whilst the member of staff did pop ice cream in, she added far too much milk and the result was essentially skimmed milk with the fake flavour of strawberry ‘crushems’. Whilst waiting for the apathetic staff member to make these, I noticed the numerous food crumbs and spilled sauce covering the work counters, probably attracting the many flies in the air. Wouldn’t go again. Absolute lack of care or concern.
