The takeaway cups were pretty. Coffee was average. Price was noticeably higher than other places.
I took a double espresso with a splash of milk and was absolutely delighted with it! I have been living in Cambridge for a few months and couldn't quite find a place that would hit my coffee taste buds until this one!
I am honestly surprised by the many negative comments here mentioning poor extraction.... Might be a matter of taste though...
And yes, the cups are ultra cute!
John is not only welcoming but a great barista. The crema was perfect, the pour creamy and temperature correct. John is a craftsman and very hospitable to this Australian expat. Truly recommended.

Amazing coffee and entertaining service???? Since our arrival in the UK we’ve been trying quite hard to find great coffee… this is where we found it. The cappuccino was gorgeous. ☺️ Thanks a lot.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Maybe the best espresso I’ve ever had. And I’ve had a lot of espresso.
Nice shop. Right area for footfall traffic. However, poorly extracted coffee at quite high prices. On a street with a large chain two doors down you’d expect to be holding itself to a higher standard. £3 for an espresso? It’d want to be nailed every time.
Great coffee - the Fish blend is wonderfully balanced between being rich, strong and aromatic. Goes very well with oat milk.
