Communication very poor. Two phone calls and a visit still awaiting a quote which was promised.
Dropped cylinder head of Monday morning tested ,skimmed and repaired got it back Wednesday dinnertime would of been quicker but had to order gasket set for me .excellent service ,reliable and friendly staff.
Taken to check timing chain/repair.
Was told to get the vehicle to him and I would have it back the very next day.
Here’s a brief on his service. No phone call from him. Rang next day and he was off with poorly child. Left messages to call me. No response.
Rang again. Not available. Went down. Fobbed off by his college. I eventually got through to him. Apologies for not getting on with it. Promised to do it following day and ring me with findings. Yet again nothing.I then lost all faith. Next day I parked outside and rang. He apologised again and said I’m on with it right now and I’ll be in touch this afternoon. He lied again as my van was still sat in his car park untouched.
Next day I got a call saying it’s done but not running. He would charge £4/5000 to rebuild engine. I said no thanks can’t afford that.
I got a bill for £870 for changing a timing change that wasn’t at fault.
These findings are from a report done at an independent garage. I contacted trading standards for advice upon I had to ask for a refund or part refund. I did in person. To be aggressively insulted sworn at and told it’s my fault. I didn’t receive a receipt as he wasn’t in (surprise) when I went to collect. Was told to leave email and receipt would be sent very next day. Still waiting. ....
AVOID as this garage carries out unnecessary work that has nothing to do with the problem and had the nerve to charge me for.
2 recovery charges.3 weeks off work on top of his £870. To be exactly the same when I got it back.

I couldn't be happier with the service. Tried 3 other garages who wanted to strip the head to complete the repair, which would have cost hundreds. Erimus managed to complete the repair with the head intact costing only £80. Friendly, quick and great price!
Same day cylinder head resurfacing!
Dropped it if, went for lunch, visited the 'Transporter Bridge' back in an hour and a half for collection!
Friendly, flexible service. Highly recommended.
Service was ok when it was eventualy completed but I was told a 2 day turn around that turned into 6 weeks putting my engine rebuild well back . Tryed to give me every excuse under the sun why a couple of hours work turned into 6 weeks. The work they did was ok but the time scale was a joke
Brilliant service , Erimus Engines repaired the head on my engine quick and effectively and was more than happy with the service i received. Recommend to anyone wanting repairs , Thanks to John and the team.
