Visited for first time for early evening meal 5.10pm. Last orders 5.30pm.
We ordered the Drumlithie Burger and the Steak Pie.
Both of which were very tasty and freshly made. Staff friendly; food yummy; bar area bright and looked newly decorated; price very reasonable. Highly recommend.
Comedy night with friends.
Booked meal beforehand .
The whole night was perfect from friendly welcome as we came in, the service, the food was brilliant and comedy show kept us all laughing.
What a brilliant wee treasure in the heart of The Mearns.
Above and beyond service from the staff at Drumlithie in when we went for a meal at the weekend. They couldn't have been more accommodating. Lovely country pub. Would highly recommend!
We just dropped in for a wee look, see, and were delighted to find a utopia of a country pub, spotlessly clean, warm, beautifully decorated, friendly staff and David the host was most welcoming.
I'm looking forward to supper sometime soon, plus sitting outside in the summer in the garden, which must be a suntrap..
I’ve got a warm feeling about this place. I think in a year or two this will be a must dine out spot. There is car parking outside the pub, which I think ought to be better used e.g. for tables at the front for cyclists and other passers by to stop and enjoy. I understand there may not be much parking elsewhere in the village, but the pub should not be the community car park (my opinion). The real warmth of the place comes from mein hosts - they were warm and inviting, a cheery smile and efficient i their service. If I lived nearby, that alone would make me come back. A good selection of beers and drinks were available. The menu was limited at this stage to what the locals might eat, with a tiny bit of intrigue added in the desert menu. I think there a gap to be bridged between what the locals want, and what the business needs - bearing in mind this area has an excellent reputation for innovation and food. But the two lads who run the place gave me confidence that they knew what they were doing, and I really felt this lovely wee, well appointed village inn, could do very well indeed.
Just had another delicious tea at the Drumlithie Inn - Honey Roast gammon with dauphinoise potatoes and seasonal veg. Excellent! Followed up nicely with Key Lime Pie. Would definitely recommend.
Not one fault definitely going back have booked for two birthdays strawberry cheesecake is to die for will be going back for quiz night and other functions that’s going on as well
Great food for lunch and supper, friendly owners who host lots of entertaining events on throughout the year.
10/10 would recommend
