First time I’ve been to the doctors is over 20 years, called at 8am was third in the queue, call was answered in about 2 minutes and had an appointment before 9am. Check in was easy, appointment was as on time. Senior nurse was great, put me at ease, gave me all the information and advice I needed. Couldn’t ask for more.
The only Dr's I've used in Lichfield and I've no reason to change. Takes a good few attempts to get through in a morning to get an on-the-day appointment, which is hardly surprising. Once there however, I've always found it to be extremely well run and friendly. I've recently had to be there on a number of occasions over the last few months. Each time I've been seen within ten minutes of my appointment time - twice seeing the Dr/getting a blood test before my appointment time was actually meant to be. Referrals to other hospitals etc have always gone very smoothly and when seeing a Dr in person, they've been nothing but professional. Explaining things extremely well and being very friendly.
Just like to say a big thank you to doctors and receptionist who were very understanding and kind. Visit led to a hospital visit which was also first rate at Burton. Call from doctor today who couldn’t have been more helpful and nicer.
I have never known a doctor surgery is on the phone for all this time and it’s hard to get appointment for my son. It’s a joke and the time to answer the phone they got an appointment because from 8 o’clock it’s been ringing non-stop. It’s worth surgery ever know I would not wish anybody to come to the surgery
Terrible doctors surgery. You cannot get an appointment for love nor money. Very unhelpful receptionists that refer any query to A & E rather than attempting to find an appointment. We have tried twice in the last week to get an appointment for our baby with no luck.
The appointment booking system needs a real review as you cannot ever get through by phone to book an appointment (which is apparently the only way you can get one!) When the staff were asked about this they could not answer how we were supposed to get an appointment for our poorly child.
Avoid this doctors at all costs!!!!
The lady that answered the phone wer very rude ,even though 111 told us to ring and what to say,,she told us we wer telling lies and 111 didn't tell us to ring ,shocking behavior really ,,
I had an appointment booked for 8.45AM (which had taken forever to book due to the fact they clearly dont have enough people answering the phones), but there was an accident en route meaning I would be slightly delayed. Tried calling over 10 times but you can never get through. I arrived 4 minutes late but had to wait in reception for over 5 minutes for someone to be free, at which point I was told they wouldn't see me as I was over their 5 minute appointment leeway. What a waste of my time and fuel - I would look elsewhere if you are thinking of changing to this surgery.
You can never get through to make an appointment via telephone and if you have a patient access login... the telephone consultation slots stop showing up on the booking tab if you don't log in after a week or so. How do you ever get an appointment it is a joke.
