Very tasty cod, chips & curry sauce nice too. Friendly staff & good menu choices. The SF chicken strips were tasty too. Decent prices. They do soft drinks Inc shandy & milk shakes as well. Good chippy & worth a visit. Parking spots outside the shop which is handy.
I've always loved Dolphin chippy for over 10yrs it's been the best in Holyhead but lately its gone down hill. Got a pasty that was there all day burnt and very dry inside,chips are dry hard crumbs. Portions are smaller and price gone higher. Cooked to order food is cooked too quick and not cooked properly. Quality has gone,need to get it back ASAP

Quality has got better, fish is delicious ???? but still never got the free meal I was promised.
We found the fish absolutely fresh and incredibly tasty. Mandy and her colleagues were very friendly and the service was impeccable. Simply the best fish and chips in the area.
Omg I have to say haven’t been to this chippy in over 50 years. But my dad had seen the owner walking around Penrhos and told him to try his chippy. My dad went there and said it was wonderful. So last night I was in Holyhead I went there what can I say amazing doesn’t come close. I have to say they were the best I have ever tasted. The dolphin. Chippy is a winner from me. Well done to all the staff you should be very proud of yourselves.
Definitely got to say it is the best Fish & Chips I have been to in a long time. Fast service, very clean & friendly. Plenty of choice. Parking available down most side roads.
Had fish and chips from here this evening and I have to say the food was very very good! The curry was just lovely, peas too and the fish very tasty and soft. Chips lovely too. I couldn’t fault the food and enjoyed every mouthful! Keep doing what your doing!
If your looking for the best fish and chips on the island this is the place the food is delicious and freshly prepared the batter is always crispy and fresh not soggy and the chippy itself is spotless ! Since moving to Holyhead summertime last year and discovering this little gem me and my family are regular customers and although it get’s really busy I have never waited more than 6 mins for food . The lady that owns it is lovely and super organised and the girls are quick and friendly the portion sizes are spot on and the prices ! In my opinion It’s a PROPER CHIPPY and the nicest around
Chips were ok. Fish batter was spongy, neither of us could stomach it. Overall very grim and we ended up having to buy a second meal elsewhere.
