Had the brown stew chicken and it tasted amazing. Portion size was very good aswell. Paid £7 and it came with rice and veg.
The customer service was friendly and helpful, which isn't always the case in Carribbean shops.
The shop decor was modern and I didn't' wait that long for food. I parked opposite on the garage forecourt. When I'm in the area I will be returning to try some of the other dishes. Definitely recommended.
I was on the hunt for Jamaican food tried every place and none open but these.
The price as I've always known to be around 20 quid for 2 meals so expected standard food
But this place has become top 5 of my favourite places the effort and truly authentic flavour that came with the food was incredible ????

Haven’t been to a Caribbean shop in a while so I decided to try this one out and I have to say the food is lovely. Staff are very helpful. I was unsure of what to order but one of the girls suggested I tried the curry chicken and shrimp and I have to say it was delicious! We had a few other set dinners and side dishes and for once all the family enjoyed it! I will be returning.
We have tried multiple Caribbean takeaways over the years however this one has became a strong favourite of ours! Every meal we have had has been piping hot(collection and delivery) full of flavour, the portion sizes are generous and the food is freshly cooked no microwave meals! Staff are very welcoming and the shop itself is very clean! Deserves more than 5 stars!
Really Enjoy the Food from this place. I have Ordered several times now and can’t stop going back. The food is full of flavour, the portion sizes are perfect and the presentation is always to a high Standard. Highly recommend everyone to try this place. The restaurant itself is very clean and staff members are very friendly.
Not happy with service.
Got in contact 2 weeks before my daughter 1st birthday party to see if I could get some food for that day. I was told because there was another booking, he wouldn't normally take on 2 bookings but he would do it on this occasion. On 12th Aug 23 , the day of the party, I called around 2pm to see if my food was ready , I was told it wasn't and to give it another hour to an hour and half. Called at 3pm was told everything is completely apart from the rice and peas, just waiting for that cook. I was told that due to another booking, he was extremely busy. I was told I could wait any hour or get a refund. I told him that if I cancel this order, I will have no and will be stuck. I was told he would be done for 4 pm. Told him that was a bit of push, but I would wait .
10 mins later, I received a text stating he won’t be to pull it off as it was too short notice and send my details so he could send my money back. Tried calling to speak to him but he never answered straight away but when he did, i said to him if got you got time to message then you got time to answer a customer call , kept saying that he’s really busy and stuck for time and he said he would caĺl in 30mins, he sounded very frustrated but didn’t it to heart as i tried to be understanding . While waiting, I went to the location , he stated to me to collect the food. They never heard of him nor was expecting any food for collection, which was very odd. I messaged and said that I’m outside the location and asked if I could just have the food without rice and peas. He messaged back and just said “ no” I was extremely shocked and disappointed by this point. So I called back to find out what really was going on, and plus he said he would call back in 30 minutes, and he didn’t. He kept rejecting my calls every time I called him.
Then he messaged “why are u pestering me? it's not the end of world.. there is food shop around” completely shocked by his messagr as i paid him to do a service for my daughter birthday party as special milstone, and instead of just being honest and telling me he couldn’t do it from the get go, he just lied. Then he had the cheek to send me a message like that. If he answered my calls, I wouldn’t have to keep calling. He eventually answered, shouting down the phone at me when I was trying to talk, and put the phone down on me. I just burst into tears. So, if that’s not rudeness and unprofessional, then I don’t know what is. I went with his company as he came highly recommended to me by quite a few people and I wanted to support a black owned company.I paid for his food and also a service. Can’t rate the food but can rate the service, and it was appalling. I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone because I don’t want anyone to go through what I went through yesterday
I have just finished my jerk chicken burger Combo meal!!! Man this place is fresh and the food was of great standard. My meal was delicious, and prepped & served with love. The staff were so lovely 2 so guys I highly recommend this place! Thank you very much. I will be back!!
Just had fry hake and fried dumplings with onions and relish. The milkshakes are to die for. Everything I have eat here I have to say the flavours are awesome!!
The prices are brilliant for portion size and quality
Eat in options I felt was restaurant standard with proper plates and cutlery...check them out!!
