Very pleasant place to stay absolutely fantastic fantastic views and what a little hide away it is only checked in for one night but may even stay another, very pleasant staff so happy to help decently priced beer down stairs in the pub with a friends atmosphere
Cheap n clean and friendly. You can't go wrong. Stopped while touring on bike with wife. Was perfect for what we needed. Clean comfy bed and stayed in worse and paid lot more too.
Paid £70 for one night, which in the current climate is not too bad, though this place is nowhere near 3* as advertised, more like 1 star.
The room defo needs a good clean, the in the actual room there were no ad smells. I can’t say the same about the bathroom though. It has some sort of drain pump that makes a hell of a noise as soon as you use any water and fills the bathroom with a nice sewage smell.
The bedding and towels were clean. Not the best mattress but had a decent night sleep after half a day on the motorbike.
This could definitely be a nice place to stay and has potential, but needs massive refurbishment and improvements to reach its claimed 3*.
Giving its condition should be max £40 per night.
Checked in by a friendly staff member. Room was spacious, clean and bedding was spotless. TV and WiFi available. Decent size en suite. Considering I checked in on a Saturday night and the town was quite busy I still had a pleasant night's sleep with the family with little noise. Location is great I.e right on the beach front. Pub has a large beer garden. Very close to all other restaurants etc Lounge facilities where not available at my time of staying due to staffing shortages but this would only have been a temporary impact on the experience and fingers crossed would not impact on those booking in coming months once resolved.
Stayed our first night in Scotland during the summer. A bit rough around the edges. The place and the staff. Rooms were hot, bathrooms were ok, the beds in our room were lousy. I took away a star because the bar closed at 7:30. It was a birthday party. A very LOUD party that went until 1:00 a.m. They could have mentioned this when we reserved because we booked just a few hours before. The bass sounded like the same song was playing over and over. It was one off, but we couldn’t sleep well after a long flight.
Nice and friendly staff, good location, enjoyed visiting.
We had two rooms ooked for a over night sty. Both rooms were very clean and spotless. Lovely comfy beds and the Cutty Sark is in a great location. Very good value for the price of the rooms. Lovely member of staff that took us to our rooms and nothing was a problem.
Would definitely stop here again
Last minute booking which was hassle free and excellent from the time we got there until we left excellent hosts a a great pub attached every body was friendly and will definitely go back again next time I go back to the farne isles and I would highly recommend the Cutty sark inn
