A lovely setting for lunch though very cold even under cover. The staff were very pleasant and the food tasty (though small portions for the price).
However, the whole experience is undermined by the use of disposable 'everything'. Useless cutlery, food on a floppy card tray or in a paper bag, disposable cups with lids.....and nor even recycled properly from the observing contents of the bins.
What has happened to proper crockery and cutlery?
Unfortunately I won't choose to visit the café again, unless there is a return to reusable crockery and adequate portion sizes.
Really dislike the use of disposable everything. Totally undermined the experience of having a convivial light meal in a lovely setting. The staff were nice enough but we had to collect and dispose of the cups, plates, bowls and cutlery ourselves. Also, many people had put theirs into the general waste where it would end up in landfill. I won't be back unless the waste is dramatically reduced and i can enjoy my food in/on reusable crockery.
This is a great spot to stop, have a cuppa and use the facilities after walking along the old rail track from Aberaeron. We have called here many times and will continue to do so. Clean environment and service with a smile.
Lovely little cafe oasis on the grounds-- gateway to lots of walks and wanders.
Good coffee, decent cakes, idyllic little spot in the trees. Wood burner for chillier days.
Our regular Sunday afternoon cuppa. We'll miss you over the winter. Just what we need after a walk at Llanerchaeron is a Fat coffee and a bit of cake with a Robin for company on one of the picnic benches. Look forward to spring and an excuse for more of that cake !
Great outdoor location for cafe. Disappointed in cold hard scones not made fresh on the day. Made worse by sour cream having not been refrigerated.
It's not hard to get it right.
Refunded after returning food but still very disappointed.
We had a lovely lunch, coffee was very good, The front of house was super polite a grate with the kids, we liked her piercings very cool ????????keep up the good work ????????highly recommended we will certainly be back for more
The salted caramel ice-cream is amazing, and they're huge, too. Definitely worth the £2.60, would visit again if I had the chance! Staff is lovely too.
