A great traditional Italian venue offering the best in pasta ???? and pizza and so much more

Service is friendly and welcoming
Had dinner here this evening, and we couldn't find a single fault. The food was fantastic, the service was impeccable and the atmosphere was warm, and friendly - exactly what you would expect from a homely Italian restaurant.
The pizza dough was perfectly cooked, still soft, but slightly charred from the oven, the sauce was fresh, and the cheese wasn't overpowering.
We consider ourselves to be slight connoisseurs of pizza (having just graduated from university, and everyone knows the relationship students have with pizza), and we rate the pizza from Il Colosseo to be amongst the best we've ever had. Grazie mille!

This was a homily Italian place with huge portions and small prices. We had three pasta dishes to share and brought home a big doggy bag. We ordered a bottle of wine which was good for a cheap price. The waiter was very friendly and funny. We had an outdoor table on a quite nice calm street. Would come back for a casual dinner.
The food was amazing, especially the tiramisu. The staff were very kind and friendly even on a packed Friday night. Prices are very good. The atmosphere was very friendly and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.
Restaurant italien géré par des italiens. Nous étions 8. Malgré cela les pizzas (très bonnes) ont toutes été servies en même temps ! Les paccheri aux fruits de mer (généreux) étaient parfaits ! J'ai trouvé le rapport qualité-prix bon. Le service était amical et attentif.
Lors de notre séjour à Genève, nous avons diné deux fois (lundi soir et Hier soir) dans ce vrai restaurant italien. Et c'est franchement excellent, les pizzas sont à tomber par terre, avec une pâte légère, aéré et très bien garnie, le top. En dessert le tiramisu maison du chef c'est une tuerie, je suis un passionné du tiramisu, je n'en ai jamais mangé un aussi bon que celui-ci. Le service et très rapide. Le personnel et le patron sont d'une grande gentillesse. Le colosseo est un incontournable si vous passez dans le coin et que vous adorez l'excellente cuisine italienne.

Bravo! Très bon restaurant typique italien, bonnes pizzas napolitaines et les pâtes aux fruits de mer étaient juste délicieuses (« Pacherri di Gragnano allo Scoglio »). Ambiance chaleureuse et le service accueillant! A presto ????????
