Not Pricey! Very reasonable price for a beach cafe, pleasantly surprised and very happy with my ham, egg and chips follow by Ice cream and cake on the beach ????
Very unprofessional women who eat while taking orders, shout at each other and ignore a queue of customers.
One customer and his Daughter standing waiting to be served and one of the women goes up opposite them and shouts out in their faces to tell someone else waiting for food that it was ready to collect.
Very busy chatting to each other rather than serving.
No I wouldn't recommend this car crash of a kiosk. It needs some professionals in and a proper coffee barista.
Really bad experience here today the older woman who works here has a very bad attitude. No customer skills whatsoever. I was on my phone taking extra orders from my family, who was sat on the picnic benches, I was told to get off my phone as she does not like to serve people using phones. I find this unusual as she is taking money from me and I do not see a problem. Some customers were treated differently than others, for example having cups or glasses for their drinks or a pot of ketchup with their dinners, if they asked for some. When I asked I was given ketchup sprayed on about 3 chips and a cardboard takeaway cup. Really it could be a nice place, if maybe the 2 other women did the serving of the customers and this other woman did the cooking at the back.
For the last few decades I've searched for fresh a fresh crab sandwiches on various beaches and eureka! Freshly made (NOT in cellophane) in fresh brown bread even with vinegar, pepper and salt on a tray with a mug (not paper) of tea. Heaven.. and served with a smile!
what a find! Food right on the beach - lots of seating and sun shades - extensive menu and fabulous ice cream!
Friendly beach cafe doing breakfasts (including veggy breakfast), cream teas, cake, ice-cream and FILTER coffee. (Not like the instant rubbish on the other side of the beach). Outside seating with tables
