Lovley little village coffee room. The staff are fantastic helpful friendly and full of knowledge of the area. I would highly recommend any time of the year! Thank you .
Also, handmade products for sale, soap gloves, christmas decorations made locally.
Nestled in a beautiful part of the country. This hidden gem was possibly the warmest and most welcoming tea room ever. Staff were amazing and helpful, hot drinks spot on. Raspberry jam 10/10, coffee cake 10/10. Perfect stop for weary travellers
Friends invited us here but couldn't make it, but we went out of curiosity. Very friendly welcome, place looked clean and tidy. Prompt service. Food was excellent. Scones, jam and cream really good. Enjoyed the pork and stuffing rolls. All the food was very fresh and well presented. Good value for money as pot of tea could be topped up, if you take a cream tea. No charge for top ups. If you're going to run a tea shop take note of how these ladies do it. Toilets on site . Limited parking by tea room. We parked in village a short distance away. Beware of some unclassified roads the sat nav may bring you. Tight lanes with limited passing places. Best approach from main road for better access especially in snowy weather. You'll be sharing with walkers and we did see people take stuff outside. A couple of seats outside. Bet they get busy in good weather.
What a great find in Hollingsclough. Lovely food, massive choice of home baked cakes and goodies all set within view of Chrome and Parkhouse hill. Perfectly located for walkers and cyclists. Open weekends and bank holidays.
Good prices, excellent cakes and exceedingly friendly locals who volunteer to serve.
Found this place on the last hour of a 6.5 walk. Extremely friendly, not fussed about our muddy boots and the cakes……best brownie I’ve ever had. If you get chance pay them a visit.
Wow 1.30 for unlimited tea or coffee. They do cream teas cakes and other yummy foods all at exceptional prices. Not ripping anyone off just because its a tourist spot. Will definitely back again. Thanks
WOW - what a great place. Bumped into Chapel Tearooms after a rather epic walk around Parkhouse Hill and Chrome Hill on a lovely (hot!) sunny Sunday. It was perfect for a refreshment (and toilet) stop before the walk back to the car. There was such a great selection of cakes and we finally settled for the yummy (and not too expensive) cream tea for 2. We sat outside, catching the last of the summer sun, enjoying the great scones and unlimited pot of tea (only if you order cream tea). A fab place to fuel up on the way out or on the way back. Keep up the good work!
