What a delightful little find. Very high quality food, very friendly people. Clearly loved by all the locals, and they clearly love them too.
This is a cafe, sweets shop, deli all sorts and it all is great.
I have been using this family business for as long as I can remember - as when it was the father Mick and his wife Vanda that used to run it - and the service had never changed and neither has the famous ice cream recipe- the fish and chips are a treat as well - and all served with a smile and a chat - well worth a visit!
Best we chippy about this way the fish supper was amazing not greasy at all same goes for the chips and fritters there soo good!???? ice cream was on point as well nothing went to waste lovely staff as well will definitely be back!????
Just been here, working in the local area - wish I had found it 3 days ago ???? staff are lovely, food - amazing, great quality and priced right . All in all - definitely worth a visit.
The cafe is situated at Centrestage building. Always well used, recently started table allocation due to the number of visitors. Always worth a visit.
In the past, I have waited till the McDonalds before I got my caffeine fix but I seen a parking space right outside this morning and boy am I glad I stopped.
The ladies behind the counter were very welcoming and cheerful and I ordered a Latte. I then spotted the menu and fancied a roll to take away so I ordered a roll n sausage and 1no with scrambled egg. I have never enjoyed rolls so much EVER! They were absolutely delicious. I will be shouting about you guys to my own workforce.
You should open up near our offices in Glasgow :). Fantastic!
Literally sat nearby in our camper van eating the most delightfully tasty fish and chips that we've had in a long time...truly delicious and I have to say at an absolute bargain price. Fantastic ..keep up the good work ????
Visited my mother's village to visit the cemetery
Called in to the Castle Cafe for old times sake. I knew it from my mother as the Tallys and sure enough it still is !!!
We had 2 square sausage rolls and tea with some cake and it was fantastic
If or when I ever visit again I will certainly call in
