Used to be the go to place for a great coffee and food. New slimmed down menu and coffee nowhere near as good. We presume it’s changed hands. Won’t be returning and we live at the marina. Such a shame.
I've been here a few times now, the most recent and last will be the last. I understand there's a wait when it's busy, but when meals between us take 10 mins to be brought out and Luke warm. For the price you pay you'd expect it to be better. Won't be returning.
We were looking forward to brunch but found out that they stop serving the breakfast menu at 11am and we arrived at 11.10am after traffic delays. Only had coffees as a result as did not fancy the lunch menu. Therefore, disappointed with the 11am deadline. Hence 4 stars on this occasion.
We go in here every Saturday and the last few weeks have been very disappointing there is a new girl and she hovers over you waiting for you to finish to take your cup or plate ,my sister went to loo and she took her drink that was quarter full then stood over her daughter why she was drinking hers soon as she put glass down she took it ,this week again she came to clear up and I actually told her we not all fin can you wait she looked pissed off and walked off the jacket was on point as always but the cake was stale I'm a cake maker so was disappointed ???? we just feel we get rushed out everything we have been lately I think the new girl needs some extra training we said we are going again once more and if things don't change we will change cafe what was once a lovely place now feels like we aren't welcome shame really as other staff lovely
I popped in at 3pm at it was busy, so went back at 430pm, and enjoyed a Saturday afternoon stout with chocolate peanut butter cake, lovely combination, friendly staff and reasonably priced... If you like cream then enjoy (I'm not a fan)
Excellent breakfast waffle this morning with fresh fruit and yoghurt. Made fresh while I waited at a lovely table with a view of the harbour. Staff are friendly and make sure customers are happy with their food.
Called here after a walk up from Seaton.
Food was amazing. Staff really friendly. Will definitely be back.
Lovely as always! Regular here, lovely coffee and always beautiful fresh cakes and scones on offer!
