Really pleased I found this place!
Great atmosphere with cool music, a warm welcome, plus the drinks selection and food are outstanding. Certainly some very cool and very different nachos and some amazing imported mexican sauces.

I'm a big fan of mexican food but unfortunately this place was just disappointing. Firstly there was some form of issue in the kitchen which left us waiting about an hour if not more for tacos, which is simply ridiculous. As you'll see from my photo they are tiny, other photos from reviews seemed to show two big tacos and this is what we got. For £10 you certainly don't get your money's worth. Tortillas likely not even made in house from what i could taste which are the easiest thing in the world to do. I had the brisket tacos, overall good flavour and juicy but ratios were off with the lettuce and just too small for the price, my photo makes them look bigger than they are, couldn't have been more than 3inch tacos. Fried chicken was good but again small, and oversalted (and that's coming from a man that loves salt)
I will say the cocktails were good, and they have good quality tequila you'd be pressed to find anywhere else, but you'll wait about 15/20 minutes to get an order back after ordering. They have a couple of good hot sauces on the table that you can only can from outside the UK. Also disapointing menu as it's not the same as the one found on these reviews, i suggest the owner actually posts the current menu and updates it when it's changed.
It would take a lot for me to want to come back here, and so I likely wouldn't recommend.

Tacos always come in threes, getting only 2 and for £10 is poor value
Tacos sat in an inch of grease.
coleslaw on nachos and kfc type fried chicken instead of grilled thighs. not your standard mexican. was missing some fresh pico de gallo, too much cheese whiz
We were visiting from Nottingham and had a great night. Popped in for food, which was very delicious, and we ended up staying for a few more hours just chatting with staff and other punters. We also tried some very nice tequila and mezcal.
Absolutely fantastic tacos, great cocktails and a good vibe. We dipped in for lunch and didn’t regret it. Coming back again for sure.
Bonus: Dog friendly
Beautiful Mexican food in a lovely restaurant. As good as anything I've had in Mexico. Delicious cocktails too.
