I have always passed Brim in Stratford. I thought I'd give them a try today.
Not very busy around 2:30 pm, the menu seemed quite simple and straightforward. I was after a burger + fries meal but they don't have such a combination. You have to buy the burger, fries and drink seperately which i thought was dissapointing.
So i ordered just their burger. Which came with no bag like the other customer before me had received, so i walked back to the office with my burger in hand, it was still relatively warm.
I had their single Brim burger at £7.95
The burger was not bad and it was not great either. As you can see from the picture the bun was quits thick and dense, this was lot to chew. I could taste more bun than the meat patty.
The burger was small and the meat patty itself was slighly on the thinner side than i had expected for a smash burger.
Others have commeneted their "burger is the best". However i doubt this as i have had much better smash burgers around London.
The gentleman who served me wears glasses; he is not enjoying his job. He wasnt very helpful in explaining what if any deals are on with fries. His answers were very short, he was more concerned in talking to his colleage than serving customers.
He said it would take 10 to 12 minutes to have the burger ready so it didn't take too long.
Starting at £7.95 for a burger I thought it was rather expensive coming out of a burger van in Stratford. Yes smash burgers are usually around this price but don't forget i have nowhere to sit (there is communal outdoor seating - all taken up), burger was small, patty was thin and i only had a foil wrapping to walk my burger back.
Payal & Tauren were very helpful and professional. Gave us great recommendations and very fast service. Will definitely be back again.
Is it delicious? Yes it is.
Is it worth the money? Absolutely no!
The portions are too small for what you pay. I'm a girl that doesn't not eat that much, and I couldn't get full from one hot dog and fries.
Also, better pay with a card because they don't have change and will not give you one back.
Delicious hot dog, flavoursome, plenty of sauce, brioche bun was a great touch. 4 stars because I don’t rate the tin foil wrap - it made it quite hard to eat and a lot of sauce was left in the wrapper. That said I will definitely go back when next in the area.
We enjoyed fresh homemade meat hamburger it was delicious specially due to their meat quality and burger sauce and we also orders a fries and meat box with melted cheese and sauce on top.
Honestly speaking I didn’t expect such good quality food serving on food truck . We went their after checking their rating on Google and they really deserve the good rating .
So far the best burger in town. The service could be better.
Wow. The best burgers the most fresh and juiciest in east london. But the customer services is like a 5stsr restaurant. Gentlemen named Saeed me and could not ask for better food and service. Highly recommend its a must try and repeat.
First time here yesterday and we loved the brim burger the beef quality was amazing with their signature burger sauce. Saeed looks after us really good customer service despite being a busy day on Eid festival weekend.
