Mark and Claire were excellent hosts. The room we stayed in was spotlessly clean, as was the rest of the accommodation. Breakfast was excellent, evening meal was fantastic. The location is perfect for sightseeing. Our hosts were only to happy to advise us on where we could go to get the most out of our trip.
We were even left a breakfast sandwich in the fridge as we had to leave early in the morning.
I would recommend beech Tree Lodge to anyone visiting the area.
My husband and I stayed at the Beech Tree Lodge for one night this week during our NC500 excursion. The owners were helpful, cheerful and welcoming. The master accommodation was lovely and very clean with nice quality bedding. The en-suite bathroom was the nicest we’ve encountered so far with quality toiletries available. Breakfast was served in the dining room downstairs and several options were available in addition to fresh fruits, cereals and juices. The surroundings were quiet, wooded and beautiful as well as being close to the main highway. All in all it was a great night’s rest and good launching point. Be sure to visit nearby Dornoch whilst nearby and also the Glenmorangie distillery for a great 1 1/2 hour informative tour!
We give for this B&B 10 stars! We had a lovely and wonderful stay here for unfortunately only 1 night. The house is so beautiful it selves and on an amazing place in the woods. The hosts are so warmly! They called us by our names and welcomed us like its home. The rooms are very cute prepared with nice details like pictures, pillows and so one and without any kind of dirt. You can order breakfast like in restaurants with many different and local offers, so delicious! And at last: the owl picture is amazing!! :) Taken by clare!

Make sure and ask to see the owners ‘Indiana jones’ motorcycle and sidecar. Worth the visit for any movie buff!
