Like the Dr Who Tardis it looks small on the outside but quite roomy inside, it as a bar lounge and a concert lounge, a good selection of drinks for its size at a reasonable price . Its a building that used to be the armies squadies club when troops were billeted in this area and passed on to the villagers of Barlow who have cherished it and kept it as it was intended to be and used by the community. Its old but well cared for and I love going there, its a piece of history.
Great little venue nostalgia kick in remind of places when I were a kid
If you've ever seen Peter Kay's "Phoenix Nights" and want to relive the experience without the comedy, or the company, then this is the place for you. You need a membership to get in during its limited opening hours and even then it's empty and has no atmosphere. You might as well stay at home!
Poor staff, didn’t feel welcome and felt very dated and old inside. The beer was not great. The best thing about this place is leaving It !
Love the atmosphere! Always feel welcomed by Ann and Carla. Really feel the village community spirit
Great snooker table. Nice to have the addition of table tennis
Very nice club, ideal for birthdays, christenings,in fact any celebrations
Lovely small village club. Great for parties. Staff very friendly
