Roast pork and Ribs are amazing and value for money is brilliant on everything considering the huge portions!
Definitely recommend and service is speedy, will be back asap.
Bamboo Village - Chowmein was ok but could of done with more seasoning, Rice also a bit low on seasoning.
Chips, Satay sauce, Salt and chilli Prawns and prawn toast were great.
But the Chicken balls? They were gloopy, gelatinous, translucent meat and did not feel or taste like any chicken ball I have ever had.
More Dough / Batter than meat and tasted more like a donut.
The Jury is out on whether I will be back , but if i am it wont be for the "Chicken" balls

Possibly the best Chinese takeaway food I have ever had
We recently ordered a pick-up meal quite late in the evening at Bamboo Villa. We were the last customers and the woman on the counter was about to close the place for the night. She was really friendly and patient. The food we got was freshly-made and the Singapore noodles tasted amazing! Since not many places deliver to remote corners of Cotswolds, Bamboo Villa offers yummy and pocket-friendly options.
Maybe I’m just used to a higher quality of Chinese takeout back in Australia, but I thought this wasn’t good at all. Spring rolls and the Cantonese beef were okay, but whatever you do DO NOT order the lemon chicken. The issue isn’t even the chicken as some others have described (although it certainly wasn’t anything spectacular). No, the issue is the lemon sauce! Tasted like soap. Stay far away from it.

First time ordering a take away from here. Very happy. Food was tasty. I'm pleased to have a selection of vegetarian dishes. Lots of tofu in a thick satay sauce, makes a change to yucky mushy veg in watery sauces which is the norm from a couple of other Chinese takeaways in the area. Will order from here again.
Was really shocked with our food tonight, ordered duck and pancakes, the duck was so dry it was hard to swallow, pork balls was the same, yet we ordered chicken balls, apparatently they only do veg chow mein instead of special chow mein, tasteless, and not enjoyable , will not be attending again
Nothing special.
The food was ok, but nothing special at all. The spring rolls were a bit burned. The chicken was cooked well but the dish I had was average. My husband enjoyed his beef dish.
I asked for English tea, I got Jasmine tea. That was very nice, but that is not what I have asked for.
Deco inside is not nice and music is boring.
Service is average.
