Ordered from just eat,hour later decided to phone bamboo garden to see when it will arrive only to be shouted at down the phone by the lady saying it had already been delivered,very very rude woman wouldn't let me speak telling me a boy took it into the house,told her there was no boy here and she continued shouting saying I was trying to get free food haha,I tried to explain that I'd payed 40 pounds and demanded my food but was getting knowhere with her and she continued to be abusive,with that I'd had enough and decided to make a car journey to the shop with photo of my house and proof of payment.inside the shop the lady still wasn't having it,she then pulled my address up in Google Street View and showed me the house....and guess what...not my house and she had the door number back to front,I showed her and the chef the pic of my house and all of a sudden by surprise the chef sais....its OK I'll cook for you.....he had taken it to the wrong address and the people at the house took it in and ate it,I even offered to go with the chef who did make the delivery back to the house to sort it out but he refused.after getting my food cooked again and driving all the way back home the egg fried rice was missing from the order.

I had a takeaway from this place had the rice with pork and duck was good also had the Spare ribs was ok but the Onions that came with it was off I was going came back But the traffic was so bad I have decided to leave it Next time I pop in they I will tell them that is why I gave 3 stars but try it for your self
This review is quite late, it us about an experience a few months back.
Made a large order as usual all food fine except the chicken balls that were either overdone or cooked in old oil because they were very dark. I called up and spoke to a lady there and explained, first thing she said was "they are always fresh" . I told her I get this product regularly and they have never looked anything like this. She then repeated that they are always fresh....well ok soooo. She finally said, next time you order I will give the balls for free. Fast forward a few weeks, I make an order which includes chicken balls and remember im supposed to get these free and so call up. This same woman really has the wrong attitude, she tells me that I am always complaining ( totally false) she tells me she has it on her screen so I ask her to let me know the day I complained and what the complaint is but she doesn't do this. In the end I tell her its fine I don't want the chicken balls and to keep them, it is then that she says she will send them but I have made my mind up to cancel order and have not used them again. I have used this takeaway for 35 + years and it was once a nice takeaway.
Just went by cause I fancied a Chinese, staff were friendly and nice, food was cooked very quick, and when I went home, still hot. Everything was delicious. Obviously I saw some of the other reviews that seemed bad, but I was very happy with it

Each time I would call up beforehand and ask for no onions In my chow mien; every single time I’ve ordered they would put onions in my food as if I didn’t take my time out to call beforehand and ask them politely for specific requirements in my food. I Called after I received the wrong order and the same lady I spoke to beforehand Answered the phone and swore at me and put down the phone even though she agreed to tell the chefs not to put onions in my order. The lady there is absolutely crazy and needs to be fired as she is not stable to be working with the public. Rudest customer service and the most vile food. I’m surprised their still open at this point.
The worst Chinese takeaway to order from. Unreliable with utterly poor customer service- after placing an order on a special occasion they refused to deliver stating that they felt "uncomfortable". Ruined the occasion leaving us with no food. Definitely feel that this has racial undertones and I will never order from this place again.
