I expected more based on the reviews. Oh and based on the prices I expected more literally, as in the amount of food. The Aros "King" Box sounded like a great idea, but the portion was quite small, the largish tray was quite empty, even though it did contain a little bit of everything described. The Meat lovers box was a little bit more filled, with not a bad amount of meat, but still not to make you feel full, and definitely not £25 worth. The food itself was good, best thing were probably the chicken wings, lamb chops coming second, but not exceptional enough to change my mind of the amount you get for £25.
Aro and his staff are the nicest people ever, they will do anything to go above and beyond. I can’t find all my pictures but here’s just a few of my many orders. We have done pick up and ate in the car, had delivery and ate in the Newton brach (haven’t visited Warrington yet) and there’s no difference in quality of food, always piping hot, flavours are always there and you just cannot go wrong. The seafood box is my fave and my partner loves the lamb chops! Like I said the flavours are insane. And don’t get me started on the huge boxes he does with everything in, we’ve had them a few times and I’ve had dinners for the following 3/4 days afterwards there’s so much food, amazing for the price! I have and would highly recommend you try it at least once, you won’t look back!’

100% the nicest food in Newton right now! The value for money is unreal, I got the 'Boss Box' which is essentially a bit of everything which is £20 and what I got was nothing short of amazing!
A massive portion of biryani rice which was phenomenal, a portion of Mac and cheese, a portion of roast potatoes, chicken (both boneless, wings or a mixture is available) salmon, prawns and corn on the cob.
The amount of food was easily enough to feed 2 of us. Every single bite was delicious. The food was cooked fresh in front of me so it isn't exactly fast food, there is a little wait but it is 100% worth it. There is seating inside so if you can't wait to tuck in you can do there and then.
Staff are brilliant, the owner greeted everyone as they entered as if they were part of his family. I will 100% be returning.
Edit 03/04: Return visit, once again went for a Boss Box but this time with extra rice. It was better this time than the last!!! It easily fed 2 of us. This is genuinely restaurant quality food with the convenience of takeaway!
First time ordering from here and was not disappointed! Steak and cheese box was delicious, juicy steak, perfect potatoes and the mac’n’cheese was an amazing addition. Also ordered a lamb chops and boneless chicken box with potatoes and rice and a side of wings. Again everything was tasty, tender lamb and chicken, seasoned/marinated in just the right amount of herbs and spices to complement the meats. Would definitely recommend and will be back to try more!
Always really good food and good portions and super fast delivery
Ordered my meal through Snapchat, fast communication, my meal came within no time. I ordered a large shredded steak box, large? This could of fed a family of 4, the food was amazing, flavours that melted my mouth, most delivery's you need to reheat, not ths one. I'm still thinking about it, and tasting it now, an hour later, I hear they have opened a 2nd kitchen in Warrington. We all read reviews, and think yeah overreacting, try it for yourself, thank you for my best meal of 2023.... X
10/10 first time order tonight, food portions huge, delivered promptly nice and fresh, would highly recommend. Definitely up there with favourite takeaways...thanks everyone at Aros i really enjoyed my meal ????????????
I heard about the store through a Facebook video and thought I'd give it a go and let's just say I wasn't disappointed the food tasted amazing and the portion sizes were good too and I'll definitely be going back in the future
