My fiance and I went up to have dinner here for Valentine's day. Didn't have a very long wait. The waitress was pleasant and polite. The atmosphere was good not too crazy. Very comfortable. The food was perfect. Drinks on point. The price was not bad at all. Spent about $60 for 2 people. We were too full to order dessert ????. We most certainly will be returning soon. Ciao
Never had an issue here until today. Waitress was super slow. We were seated and waited about 15 minutes before she showed up. By that time we knew what we wanted so we ordered everything was about another 15 minutes before appetizers came out and then 10 minutes after that for the food. One of the orders was all you could eat and really should have ordered a regular meal because I could not get the food I wanted in the time that I had to eat today. There were tables around us that showed up after we did that got their drinks and food before us. As far as the ambience the music was a little loud and was club music in the middle of the day at lunch time. The restaurant in general was clean and our seating area was clean when we got to it. The glass front doors were filthy to the point that you didn't want to touch the doors to go in or out if you're worried about your hands staying clean. Like I said never had an issue here before but today was just a disappointment
To start, our server Kelsea was prompt and very kind. She checked back with us to make sure the food was good. She was knowledgeable about drinks offered. I wanted a non-alcoholic beer and she informed me they had it. The food was amazing! We had Bourbon Street chicken and shrimp, riblets, wonton tacos and spinach and artichoke dip. We even had a chance to thank the chefs. Very nice men. I highly recommend going here. ❤
No line, no wait! That was the best part of our whole experience. A party of six, three adults, and three teenagers. Our waitress was nice and attentive the whole visit. Drinks were brought out quick! We ordered off the 2 for 2x menu. I thought we ordered two chicken tender plates off the two for $25 menu. She asked if fries and coleslaw were okay for the sides, and they opted for extra fries instead of coleslaw. (Apparently, two sides qualify as the platter on the 2 for $29 menu.) We were not made aware of that upon ordering. The next 2 for $25 was a hamburger and a grilled chicken plate. The chicken was a little dry but can't really complain. The last set of meals was off the 2 for $29 menu. The pasta dish and the 6 oz steak, which we upgraded to an 8 oz steak for $3. I understand that those are precooked weights. However, that steak was the smallest eight ounce steak i've ever seen in my life. He wanted it medium rare, and it came out well done. (See pictures)
We don't go out to eat very often because we do have what is considered a large family. It's been years since we've been to an applebee's. It's definitely not what I remember.
Our server was really nice and explained things as they came up. I feel she could have done a better job upon ordering at letting us know the difference between the 2 for $25 and the 2 for $29. Eight dollars isn't gonna make or break us, but it would have been nice to know up front.
The biggest complaint comes from the drink experience. I grew up in the south. The sweet tea is always sweet enough to melt a grouchy old man's heart. However, the tea that was served tonight tastes like heartbreak. Like whoever made it must be from up north because that tea was not made by a southerner.
I'm not saying it's a bad place to eat. I'm just saying keep your expectations low.
Brad is an excellent server! Brad is very welcoming, professional, friendly, fast-working, and efficient! This is the second time that Brad has been my server and each time Brad has provided superb customer service! Brad represents Applebee's in such a way that brings honor and distinction to the entire organization! Please recognize Brad for his good work!
The cook staff also deserve recognition for doing great work! The cook staff are the unsung heroes. The cook staff seldom get recognition because they are "behind the scenes "; however, they are the lifeblood of the entire restaurant and corporation! The cook staff ARE "the organization"; because, without them, there is nothing to sell. Please recognize the cook staff!
Also, the bar staff created my drink; so please recognize the bar staff! (Annie at the bar...who was assisted by Brad my server!)
Brad had excellent customers service i recommend choosing him as a server I would definitely be coming back ! Great job apple bees!
I had lunch today, my favorite, the Shrimp Tex Mex bowl. Delicious! Waitress was friendly & quick. Coffee was good, too.
We had the best server named Yaqui, he is so personable, friendly, accommodating and a good sense of humor. Within the restaurant, we saw a team and really impressed how they all worked together. The bartender was on top of it and Charles ( the new manager) did NOT leave his crew hanging out to dry! He was there to run food, answer questions from patrons and be a strong support for his team! Impressed and will be back! Great job everyone!
