Everything's horrible! From the cleanliness and appearance of the restaurant to the customer service and food, one star. I ordered two different salads and got two of the same. The bread sticks were so hard and disgusting that I couldn't eat them. I ordered two sides of broccoli and it was too small even for a kid. Not silverware even that I asked for it. The food was not fresh at all, it came out late and the fries were cold and hard! What a big money grab!
The food and service was great! The food was hot, fresh, tasty, and came out quickly. All the staff we interacted with were kind, welcoming, and helpful. Shout out to Tina and the waitress that went on break before she took over (sorry I forgot your name)! Thank you!
The absolute worse, long wait unprofessional cold over seasoned food. Don’t waste your time or money
Waited over 20 minutes for our drinks, which we had to remind him to get and when we reminded him, he has to ask again what our drinks were. Waited 40 minutes to finally get our food and when the server brought it out, he got both orders wrong because he decided to try to remember our order instead of writing it down. When we told him it was wrong, he started to give us an attitude. I understand people have bad days, but if you're not gonna properly take our order the correct way, don't get mad when people correct you.
Went in with my girlfriend, was seated and the server took about 5 min to come over. Sounds good. Took our order + drink request as we had figured out what we wanted in that time. Cue the waiting period. We waited over 30 min and hadn’t gotten our drinks. The server came over to assure us our appetizer would be out shortly. I asked them about the drinks and he had noticed he forgot them and asked what they were again. Another 10 minute wait and he brings the drinks immediately followed by the appetizer forgetting the extra sauce requested. We finish the first sauce and patiently waited for the second to arrive which took another 5 minutes (cold sauce mind you). We finish that and wait another 20 minutes and he brings us out two wrong main plates. When I inform him the one is wrong he says he will go get it sorted out then comes back asking if that’s what we wanted or if we should just total it out. I said we would like the actual order and he made a remark like “sure I’ll go get that” in a condescending tone. I was done at this point. I had asked for the bill for just what we had ate and drank and we would total it at that. He goes “yeah that’s what I’m thinking too” bringing me a bill that has one of the incorrect main dishes still on there as well as the food we had actually eaten. I had informed him that the main dishes were both wrong and we didn’t want either. His remark was “sorry I’m human”. At no point during this visit did I get angry, or even give this guy an attitude. I work in the service industry myself and to see customers treated this way is insane to me. I will not be returning to this location.
We came in at 8 pm it was not busy it was a decent amount of customers our server said she’d be back ( this is at 8:08) we did not receive a SINGLE glass of water until our next server Liz came which was at 8:40. Before Liz got there the server that was supposedly forever on her way back was talking to the other waitresses and dealing with the only other table in her section besides my party. In the mist of sitting and waiting all that time an old student of mine happened to work there and went to the back and got us a drink… the waitresses that were not paying us any attention in the half way empty restaurant threatened to tell a manger on him. Very very petty behavior, after waiting all that time that we did and didn’t cause a scene they need to say thank you because we wanted to leave but we had kids and talking to him and him getting us drinks made us stay and give Liz a chance because the first girl completely disappeared.
I have been to other Applebee's and have been very pleased. This one was a tad odd. We were given wrapped up plastic silverware that I could get at McDonald's or Burger King. I was told they had run out of real silverware. Also the bathroom was not clean.
All the food was good and tasted fresh. Drinks were well balanced and not overly sweet.
