Best KPortal Reviews

My first time coming here and I have to say this was the best food I’ve had in the Vail valley! Every single thing was amazing!! The owner invited me earlier today when he visited my job and I made it my business to pay them a visit! The staff are all Nepalese and were very kind and accommodating. The ambiance was very nice giving a calm vibe which I appreciated very much agree a long day at work, everything was clean and organized. My favorite thing was the chau chau shrimp it was sooo flavorful and filling, the naan could’ve been eaten alone but it definitely was great with saag paneer and makhani chicken. My boyfriend was very very pleased with the goat curry, it reminded him of Jamaican curry goat which is something he’s been looking for since we moved here. We’ll definitely be coming back to try more things and we’re very excited to do so!
This place rocks! This is some of the best food in Vail with some affordable prices. It also has a very good vibe, being like a traditional Indian restaurant! The food is very customizable, since they ask you your level of spiciness. However, the garlic naan (even though house made and very delicious) was a bit steep ($7.00), compared to the rest of the menu. Also, it was a little hard to understand the server’s English at times. The chicken tandoori was also a bit dry, and the veggies surrounding it were a bit flavorless. However, it is a true authentic Indian restaurant that is worth coming to in Vail!
What can be below 1 star? You can’t just serve half cooked chicken and show tantrum claiming chicken is cooked. First, no I don’t want your replacement or other item if you are serving half cooked items for customers after waiting 45+ minutes and denying at all saying it’s good and cooked and showing attitudes. I who drove an hour in snow and hungry with friends and family for a warm and homely meal but returned hungry to other restaurants for better food and service. And to answer your question “support Nepali”, why do you think we drove all the way there for the food?
My personal opinion: I don’t know how long do you think you could hold your business goodwill with such unpleasant service. I went through all the reviews and in general people are complaining about service time, price and hospitality. Of course it’s my first and last time on this establishment at all, because aside from business providing good homely meal in foreign country is a matter of pride but this place failed horribly.
Excellent Nepali & Indian food. Everything tastes so fresh and authentic. This is a must-stop, even if you are not staying at the lodge. We had chicken and goat curry, with some garlic naan. Totally recommended.
Beautiful restaurant with great vibes and energy. Staff are very friendly.
Food is very tasty.
Took alu dum and daal soup on our way to denver airport. The taste was pretty good.
Buttter roti was like never tasted before, Very fresh and yummy.
Bad thing is no heating the day we went. So we had our jackets on even while eating
But must visit.
Nepali | Indian subcontinent food in place like Vail...what else can you expect..it's in a Lodge and food was decent..server was friendly and very attentive.
Amazing!. I have played pool across from this spot for years, and never tried it. I don’t like spicy food.
My friend Sanket from India had me try. Now I’m down $50 a week because it’s so delicious.
The mother of the family is the Chef. She cooks on a 1 to be10 spice level. Ms. Nelpali chef is dialed. The women is taking at least $200 a month from me.
This is Nepal. They produce the most serious Mountaineers in the world. What do they eat?
I’m Concierge prominent property here in Vail, and I’d send guests here without blinking an eye.
If you’re a fan of Chinese, get the better version of lo mein. It’s something like #63 on the menu.
Also, all the vegetables she incudes in the dishes are crispy. The chef is really dialed in and caters to the people
Being a nepali guy . I had missed nepali food a lot . Meantime i got to know about this restaurant . This feels very homely taste and vibrant environment.
