The food has different taste each time I buy food there and the quantity of the dish has went down. I bought 2 steak dinners and all you get is a huge helping of rice. I will not dine there again.
Delicious veggie roti!
I visited one night while I was in town for work. It was about 30 minutes before closing time and upon trying to pay for my food my card wouldn't work. After running it twice, the gentleman said "Oh, this is an American Express. We don't accept Amex." I asked them to hold on while I went to look for cash in my car, which as it turns out I did not have. I went back in to let them know that by time I would get back to my hotel (which was 20 minutes away) to get another payment method it would be nearly closing time. I told them I was sorry that they would end up having to toss the food and then they told me not to worry, just take it. They said it was on the house! That was so incredibly kind, they didn't have to give it to me but they did. I was very appreciative.
If I ever find myself back in Boston, I would definitely come back here and also pay it forward. ????
why do black peoples treat their own kind with zero care, these ladies blast gospel music and don’t display any love for their own people. Foods good though, she wanted to charge me for a to go box for roti - because i thought that was foolishness the inevitable happened .. bagged roti to go
This food wasn't that great, but what can I say ????
The food is still good, the number 1 factor that prevents this place from being top notch is they constantly run out of food items! It doesn't matter what day, or the day of the week, or time of day it is, they constantly keep running out of beef, boneless chicken, chana, etc. It either means the line cooks are not in line, or in sync with the restaurant's demands or they're just that popular. Either way, please get it together!
I have been eating at Ali's Roti for years. This is the best and authentic West Indian food found outside of the Caribbean. I highly recommend Ali's Roti for an excellent healthy home cooked meal. The staff and food remind me of my favorite food stall in Oistins, Barbados. I am very thankful that Ali's Roti is in Boston. I wish the staff a very healthy and prosperous new year.
Really tasty! Glad I made my way out to try this food. For the price you’ll pay you will get a large portion of delicious Roti and wonderful assorted fillings.
I got the goat bone dinner. It was excellent. They do not skimp with the portion sizes. 2 meals in 1. I was very impressed and I look to come back soon.
