Stopped by this local spot for breakfast.....a little place with great food and reasonable prices. Small individually owned shop, the shopkeeper was helpful and gave me some advice on how to get around. Great spot, highly recommend.

I don't normally take the time to write reviews, but we had such an amazing lunch here today that I felt like I just had to go the effort of trying to spread the word!
We received a warm welcome the second we walked in and enjoyed giant plates of delicious food for unbelievably low prices, considering the location and the quality.
You must try the Moroccan chicken, I'm not sure what magic spell they use, but it's the most tender, juicy and flavourful chicken I've ever had.
I work nearby and have tried quite a number of places for lunch over the months, the Aldwych Cafe is hands down the best one in the area!
Amazingly lovely staff who gave great service (a little slow, they were very busy)and were so very accommodating of our children, meeting all of their amendment/additions requests. Delicious food and reasonable prices. Going to the loo ... Was an adventure. Could do with some updating there. Will definitely visit again and definitely recommend.
Small cafe, with nice sandwiches made to order, to eat in or take away. I didn’t try any of the beverages, but service was nice and the selection of breads was nice, even the basic ham and cheese and cheese.
so incredibly glad we stumbled across this whole in the wall cafe. the food was delicious, the service was impeccable and the prices are fair. anybody in the area should definitely check out this cute cafe, they offer breakfast or lunch/dinner options as well as home baked delicious sweet treats. we went for breakfast and came back later in the day for a coffee and some delicious carrot cake. i also saw that students can receive a discount from monday-friday. 100% would recommend and will be going back in the future for sure.
Ordered a tomato mozzarella panini, there were 3 pieces of mozzarella (each sized like a 1£coin) in the whole sand-which. Nicely asked if owner could add some, he added 2 tiny pieces and told me he wouldn’t add more because “that’s the price”. The man was very mean and the panini wasn’t good, was basically some bread with tomatoes. Would NOT recommend to anyone.
I could not be happier I found this place. Aldwych Cafe is a hidden gem in central London. Incredibly reasonable prices and delicious homemade food. The Moroccan Chicken is my personal favourite, but all other options are also to die for. Mr Michael with his warmth and kindness are just the cherry on top!
