Just wanted to say that since the pharmacy has been under new management the service in there has been amazing.the two male pharmacist cannot do enough for you. They offer a very personalised speedy service, are very discreet. Polite. Professional. Best service I have known in a pharmacist. I have even telephoned them and ordered emergency prescription over the phone for my daughter. As I said earlier they cannot do enough for you. Well done to the 2 pharmacist and their team ????
This pharmacy is under new ownership and is great now. I went in the other day and got friendly customer service and got my prescription within about 30 seconds! Highly recommend.
i went into the pharmacy today to collect my prescription, and as soon as i got in there that infamous lady on the till was already arguing with an elderly lady. she then asked me why i was there, i told her and she proceeded to scoff and laugh in my face. there was about 8 other people in the pharmacy just waiting around. she told me it was going to be 30/40 minute wait for my prescription, i said i would come back later and she was abrupt and said it doesn’t matter whether i come back later or not it’s still going to be a 30/40 minute wait. firstly, i think it’s absolutely disgusting to laugh in a patients face in a professional setting, i mean judging by all the other reviews she clearly doesn’t like her job and doesn’t like interacting with customers so it’s beyond me why she’s still there. and i can imagine there’s plenty of vulnerable people that go into that pharmacy and to treat the customers like that really is appalling. secondly the waiting times are absolutely ridiculous every single time, there’s always a queue and people are just left standing around. i even came 3/4 hours after my doctor prescribed me the medication and it still wasn’t ready. if i were you i would ask your doctor to send it elsewhere as the whole experience in that pharmacy is unpleasant. if i could give 0 stars i would.
Closes at 17.59 even though website says open till 1830 and the sign on the door says 1800. Asking the staff about this the following day and they couldn’t care less the website was wrong as it’s changing management soon anyway.
On returning the following day, was told prescription would need to be ordered… despite them having received it from the Doctor 10 days earlier.
So having to go back again for the third time tomorrow to try and get prescription.
DO NOT let the GP send your prescription automatically to this pharmacy, use another one instead!
Great service and top notch pharmacists and support staff. Needed Althera milk for little one. Called multiple places but these guys had it! Thank you
Attended today as GP sent my px across. Clearly unable to manage demand! Rude and unhelpful and did not like being asked reasonable questions. Told I had to wait half an hour for prescription as could not return to collect later! I got my prescription from them and went to the lovely guys at Lazy Hill pharmacy. I waited 10 minutes but didn't mind a jot cause this was done with a smile. Unacceptable service from AM pharmacy and poor way to treat customers. Needs a calm and steady hand and desperately.....customer training. I'd get your px printed by them, and go elsewhere!
Avoid if you can. Waiting time is awful. It has been like this for months/years. No one seems happy or helpful. You are not told straight away that your medication isn't even available, just left waiting. I'm lucky i can drive I will definitely be going to lazy hill pharmacy in future the pharmacist there is really helpful and staff are very friendly
Place is filthy with litter on the floor and cobwebs around the bottom of the window, etc.
Prescription not ready even though they’ve had it 3 days. The lady on the till just wrote down my name and DOB as a matter of course to hand to the dispenser.
Staff are very mechanical, bordering on rude.
Come to think of it, she got me to sign the prescription but not tick the box so they could possibly claim from NHS despite my paying for it? Make sure you complete the prescription yourself as you’ll be the one done for fraud, not them, as it’s your signature!
