My son and I enjoy our sushi every time we come here. The service is always fun and friendly and the sushi chef is incredible at every type of sushi. My son raves over the fried crab Rangoon roll and we have never been anything but completely happy with all our sushi. I recommend it for dine in and take out. I love this place
We’ve been numerous times since we moved to Duluth in 2022. The owners are very nice, service is awesome, and the food is always good, and consistent. This has become one of our favorite Ramen places to visit.
This may be my favorite ramen place. I got the Naruto ramen no spice and it was delicious! I really like that it came with corn, bean sprouts and green onion. I also got the spicy crab house roll which was amazing too. The fried jalapenos were good, but not great imo. Service was excellent. I liked that it was quiet and the music lent to the ambiance. We will definitely be coming back.
Arrived a little before 2:30, before their lunch hour special ended which was nice for me to save two dollars in a ramen and sushi roll combo. The restaurant is well decorated and has a nice ambience with soft music. A good place for a date. The waitress was nice and attentive. She also knew the menu well and gave additional information about the lunch special offered. The restrooms do not have the same decoration which I found a bit disappointing and should be remodeled to suit it and change some of the appliances like the hand dryer and soap dispenser.
Now for the food, the ichiraku ramen, dumpling ramen and tonkotsu ramen were all tasty with good broth and noodles. All had the option to choose a slice level from mild, medium, spicy and hot. I found medium to be a good spice level for me. Also the Georgia roll was quite tasty. I left full with my kind companions who allowed me to take pictures of their food.
Got a few traditional dishes here and firstly.... the ramen with Chicken Katsu on it took me back to my deployment to Guam. If you're looking for a little taste of Japan then you have to stop in. Also if you're adventurous I highly recommend the Takoyaki. Absolutely phenomenal! Oh and the hot Saki...... just get a large bottle and thank me later ????
Ramen at this place is the best. The portion, flavor and the spice level is perfect. Place is small but the food is great! I had the chicken ramen. Definitely going to visit this place again!
Update: Visited this place multiple times. Love the menu sushi rolls are great and also tried the udon noodles, they are great too!
I would like to say that this place was great…So I arrived around 2:45 PM on a Sunday. Their hours were not clearly marked on the front door, some were missing. Saturday and Sunday in particular so I walk inside. Its is very clean. I love sushi by the way. I saw one table in there. So I make eye contact with the guy behind the sushi bar, You know to get the OK to sit down and he looks at his and the look of disappointment comes over his face. So I ask “are you about to close” and he says no no it’s OK and he still has this disappointed look on his face. So I said to myself let me give him what he wants. I’m going to leave so he can close the store or so he doesn’t have to wait on me, you guys try your luck with this place maybe if you’re not black…..he wont mind……or whatever the reason this area of town is bad about treating black ppl badly.
I am so happy I came to this place. I'm from New York and frequent Chinatown for ramen. This is some of the best ramen I've ever had. It's so garlicy and flavorful. The service is great, staff is very attentive and pleasant. The ambience is nice and quiet. Great spot to enjoy delicious ramen!
