We went in for some food on a Friday lunch time. We were greeted on arrival by friendly and helpful staff who showed us to our seats and came back a few minutes later to take our order.
The fish was beautifully cooked and very tasty and was accompanied by well cooked chips and mushy peas.
Very good meal and great value so highly recommend a visit!
First time here and well impressed. Portions are huge and the price is very good. Staff and Service is good and the establishment clean. It's open 7 days a week aswell! Restaurant or Takeaway for your pleased.

This place has been taken over by new owners. They were lovely and it was good customer service, it is just unfortunate that the food is not on-par with the previous owners. Gravy didn't seem traditional chippy gravy and the Yorkshire fishcake we had weren't cooked as the potato was rock solid :( it is a shame as they seem lovely people but feel I'll probs go to the cheaper, closer chippy from now on. Also should be aware that you can no longer eat in here and the menu is standard chip shop food only (not like the old pictures of the menu on Google) wish them the best of luck, practice makes perfect
Fabulous fish and chips! The food was hot and tasty. Our waitresses Beth and Emily were friendly and helpful. We were a bit sceptical about the battered chocolate orange but what a treat! Good value for money too! Looking forward to our next visit. ????
Revamped and stunning!
I thoroughly enjoyed this new look restaurant with adjoining fish and chip bar, it combining both ease and class with a surprisingly good array of food options.
New decor makes you feel in a swanky establishment meanwhile also has great priced food of a high standard and quality - my family loved it, deserves 6 stars really !
Came here for my husbands 30th Birthday and it was fabulous. The staff were very friendly, very helpful. The food was delicious. All 4 of us (Myself, Husband, and 2 children aged 4&6) were stuffed.

Nice, clean and pleasant seating area, friendly staff and prices are pretty good too but most importantly the food.....well it was better than I expected if im honest, as a big sea food lover I picked a starter and main with this in mind and both were really good plus proper beer. If I was to say anything about it negative it would be the carpark is a little small and awkward but that's it. Even the wife loved her choice and as the portion beat her they boxed up what was left to take away.
New owners seem very pleasant. Plenty of chat and banter while serving.
Chips were tasty but a bit dry as had been sat a bit and they had a faint taste of paraffin. There were also customers in there eating their fish suppers off the counter (and spilling half of it on the floor and counter as they couldn't talk and eat)
