Get your state inspection here! I arrived at 2 pm on a Wednesday. There was someone just pulling into the bay. I pulled in less than 15 minutes later. They checked me out, corrected a couple minor issues, and I was out. Quality work, inexpensive. Bring cash.
If I could leave 0 starts I would. Faild my car for lights being too clouding and back liences plate bulb being out. My care was also starting no problem but once they out their hands on it it doesn't wanna start AT ALL. DO NOT GO HERE.
These guys are quick and honest. Prices are good and they won’t lie to you to try and upsell products. Really happy with this shop and I will be coming here every year for inspection.
This place is a rip-off. Do not go there! The inspector tries to rip you off by saying your headlight lens cover is too cloudy and you need to get them cleaned. He charges $65 to clean them. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!
The Hampton area has the best place for car inspections! Ace Automotive! The inspectors are efficient, professional, and trustworthy. Although they used to offer Saturday inspection, this is no longer the case. I highly recommend their services.
Went in for $20 inspection came out spending close to $100 bucks for small things they supposedly found. They overcharged just to put a light bulb in I went here once before and decided to try it again. They knit pick everything. And the one guy acts as though it’s a problem and doesn’t want to help. It won’t take me a third time… not going back and won’t recommend. Even another person told me they did the same thing to her. Just beware.
Went there on the 5th of October and Andre inspected my car and failed me because I needed a new tire and I needed to take the tint off my windshield and some reason my headlights were “dim” so I fixed these issues and came back and he still didn’t pass me Because my headlights were dim even tho I switched to led bulbs that were 500% brighter, instead he told me I needed to buy a whole new headlight assembly which didn’t make sense considering nothing was wrong with the headlight itself. So I went to another inspector and he passes me with flying colors and I told him this ridiculous story and he said that he had been an inspector for 20 years and never once did he test the brightness of someone’s headlights. So I won’t ever be coming back. Inspector Andre gets you for the most stupidest things that aren’t even on the inspection checklist. Please retire at this point
Have been carrying two trucks to Ace for years for inspection.Same inspector.I have had a few rejection stickers over the years , and they were all legitimate. Ace inspects my trucks every year for one reason and that is because the inspector is a very honest person.
