Got a free meal from their street lucky draw campaign. The food was amazing, with tasty beans, guacamole, and chicken in it. Also, the service was great and the whole place was nice and clean.
Was on office visit and then came out for lunch and found this amazing treasure.
Had classic bowl of rice ???? black beens and Zam chicken and it’s mouth ???? licking. I am loving it.
Must try when you are in Reading high street.

Truly delicious tacos. Recently went to Australia and Zambrero was a food highlight for me there, so am really glad to see the chain here too. The quality was near identical - I think you get a little more protein in Aussie perhaps, and there were more options of sauces and sides in Aussie, but still both of them taste really fresh and hit the spot, so I'm really glad and relieved it's the same. This branch is smaller than the Aussie ones, but appears to have the same main menu items. Price wise it was about £5 including drink which I think is good, especially given the climate, and compared to cooking and making it myself at home with an Old El Paso fajita kit. I did have to give my order twice as they shifted, and etiquette could be improved - similar to Aussie, but can't really complain tbh. It's the Aussie one that was out of stock, but this one was all good! I'll definitely be visiting again and I recommend it to anyone.
I had the soft tacos with chicken, cheese, cream, lettuce, red onion, tomato, garlic sauce. Will probably try the vegetarian options in future as my veggie friend really likes the burritos.
Has literally been my daily lunch for over a month now. Great tasting food that's also healthy. Good portion size. Absolutely love this place. Can't recommend it enough.
Love Mexican food, but was really disappointed.
Went for the classic bowl, the rice and the bean portions are incredible small (like 1.5 tablespoon of each ), then they put a ton of lettuce to make it seem full... The beef was nice.
Don't think I will come back again.
I have never been to the actually store as I only order from home, but it has always been an excelent service, food gets here still warm and the packaging is the best I have seen, so clever for tacos so they don't break!
I can eat mexican food without killing my taste buds as they do have options non spicy! Love it!
Went in for lunch. I had the rice bowl which was delicious. Just the portion was small. Other than that I really enjoyed it.
Will be back soon. Highly recommend
