If there were 6 stars. I'd be ticking the 6th!!! As usual. Adam bailed me out again. At such short notice he managed to get me back out on the road so I can continue running my business.. honestly this guy is awesome. My family also use his garage too. No matter what it is. This guy's knows his stuff and we all trust him without question. Definitely a rare thing to find in these times. A garage that doesn't rip folks off and only does work that really needs doing. The British army lost a good guy when he left, but Mansfield gained an awesome mechanic thanks again pal. I owe u one
Absolutely the best mechanic I've come across, he always delivers on times and pricing. He looks after all our cars within the family,nothing is to much. I recommend to all my friends and now some use him. Cheers adam I always feel in safe hands
Have to admit Adam never seems to fail.
Recently carried out a new clutch and gear box as well as a service on my vehicle.
Well let's put it this way the car is running better than it was before. I was quoted by 4 other garages in the area and Adam was alot cheaper but the quality was there.
Can't recommend this place enough.

Clutch had gone on my Fiat Bravo the day before we were due to go on holiday. Adam sorted it straightaway and worked into the night to get it sorted when all the other local garages would not do it. Honest, reliable and trustworthy garage. I would recommend it to anyone needing work done to their car.
Absolutely dreadful experience. Avoid at all costs!
I paid Adam £160 to replace two rear suspension coil springs and brake pads. Upon collecting my car, I noticed there was significant damage to the rear right of it. Adam completely denied all knowledge and said he thought the damage had always been there, yet 4 days prior to that he had analyzed my car to diagnose the initial problem and knew there wasn't existing damage. He then felt the need to say he didn't want to phone me to alarm me. Why would he feel it would alarm me if he thought the damage had always been there? It was most definitely a slip of the tongue as liars will always undoubtedly make mistakes. He assured me that his unit was covered by CCTV cameras so the culprit would emphatically be exposed. However, he later told me the cameras, unfortunately, don’t cover his unit. How convenient.
I took advice from a couple of experienced mechanics who all categorically informed me that the damage occurred while the car was in reverse and the impact was 'fresh'. Adam had earlier informed me that he had taken my car out for a test drive to test the suspension. Although, do you really need to drive 20 miles to do that because that’s the amount of fuel he used? I’m under no illusions, it’s during this period the impact transpired.
After many grossly delayed text messages from Adam, he agreed to pay half towards the cost but this had to be done using a place he recommended. I insisted on using a place that is closer to my place of work so wasn’t an inconvenience to myself, whilst the repairs were carried out. Let’s not forget Adam did say he would pay half towards the damage so what could possible go wrong? Well it can and did, because now he has told me he is not willing to pay anything until the work is done regardless of where I choose to get it repaired. So as a customer, who has put faith in Z.A.K’S garage; I ask where is my guarantee that Adam will pay his half once I’ve spent additional money on repairs? I propose that Adam never had any intentions of paying me for the damage he caused.
He took my good nature and decent conduct as a sign of weakness and has tried everything to get out of taking responsibility for his total negligence. I've lost complete faith in Adam and I'm not willing to use anywhere he recommends. People be aware, please, please, please do not use Z.A.K’s garage. A garage that is tainted with cheap parts, which unfortunately come with cheap lies.
I had a friend recommend ZAKs Garage a couple of years ago. I've since had to call Adam on a number of occasions, sometimes out of normal hours when all other garages are closed and help has been unavailable, to help with a couple of vehicles, and so feel he is very much deserving of a positive review due to his knowledge, attention to detail, speed, helpfulness and competitive pricing. From a key coding fault, a failed battery, a full service, MOT, vehicle recovery with replacement Auxiliary belt and then tensioner, replacement tyres and warning light checks , he's gone above and beyond in all weather's to ensure my cars are safe, reliable and fit for purpose, quickly and competitively priced. Nothing has been too much trouble, and I have absolute faith and total confidence that the job has been done well. He is also extremely polite. Highly recommended
10 out of 10, sometimes a little hard to get a booking but that's because the place is top tier, I trust this guy 110% to work on my car, so I pretty much trust this guy with my life, good communication and unbeatable prices, excellent work, this is now my one stop shop ????????

Adam collected my car from home on his recovery truck and took it to a neighbouring garage for a pre-booked appointment, as I was unable to drive at the time following an operation.
Spot on service and a nice chap with a good eye for classic cars ????
