I wanted a nice meal for my birthday. Our experience of local restaurants was disappointing so we decided to go to Zaika for takeaway were I have always had fresh, tasty, and good value for money. Yet again we had an amazing experience. A lovely tasty meal cooked fresh and at a good price. Thankyou Gulzar!
It's difficult to tell from the outside just how good this place is.....
However it's an absolute gem of a place! The food is lovingly prepared by an Indian chef that absolutely knows his trade.
Been 4x, and I'll go no where else..
Me and my girlfriend walked passed here loads of times and never noticed the place really then finally one day we noticed and thought we would give it a bash. Best decision ever.
I would say this is the best curry in elgin, and its not even close. Everything is 10 tastes times fresher than everywhere else and the man who owns the shop is a delight aswell, always happy and smiling.
When we order 2 currys the order usually takes at least 20 minutes but i believe thats because everythings cooked from scratch and id rather wait for top notch food then get rubbish in 5 minutes.

One of the best curries I’ve ever had. Thoroughly recommend the Chicken Tikka Garlic Chilli Massala. The naan, rice and chips were all great too. The man in the shop is also a gent.
Best curry in Moray! Authentic food has genuine home made quality rather than the bland cash and carry taste from other places. Service with a smile always. You'll wait a little bit longer because everything is cooked fresh. Naans are the best in Scotland. Mirchi Korma - leaves you in tears of joy.
Ordered a set meal for 4 and it fed a family of 6 , I must say it was stupendous, their chicken pakora's and onion bhaji's were simply divine, if you happen to find yourself in or around Elgin, I would seriously recommend this takeaway as a the go to curry house, my experience as a whole was great, very friendly staff and fast delivery times, unbeatable. 10 out of 10!
Honestly one of the best curries I’ve had in the Scotland - good portion sizes and fresh ingredients the taste is like homemade quality. The staff are really nice too, I’ll definitely be coming back!
