Ordered from Uber eats. I ordered plantain, red pea soup, veg curry, rice and peas, a salt fish fritter and two veg patties. The rice and peas, veg curry and red pea soup were nice. Nice authentic flavours. You get a good amount of plantain, but they’re soaked in oil unfortunately. The salt fish fritter tastes odd and has a chewy, tough texture, like they’ve been sitting out for a looong time and don’t taste like the normal Jamaican fritters I’m used to. ( I had to throw it away in the end)
The patties didn’t arrive!! Also not everybody knows what’s in a Jamaican red pea soup, so would be helpful to add a description online.
First time dining here for lunch and certainly won't be my last. Food was 10/10 giving Michelin style presentation. Staff are lovely and accommodating and Manager makes you feel so welcome. My new lunchtime spot.
Amazing tasting food right near my workplace, food is always spot on. The manager Wayne & the girls arelovely! Cant go wrong with the oxtail!!! ????????????????????????
Wow! Have had take aways in the past but today did a lunch time sit down and was blown away. Presentation - on point, Food - a true taste of back home, VFM - ????. The Manager/Head Chef is so personable and attentive, definitely a place "to fill yuh belly buss"
The food was a 10/10. Full of flavour. The customer experience was good had us laughing and entertained. DEFFO RECOMMEND!! Worth your money! The rum punch is something too????
Oxtail and curried goat were exceptional!!! PROPER rice and peas! Wow the flavours! The quality and the presentation were brilliant - the rum punch and the side salad was fresh, light and perfect alongside! The ladies were lovely and although we live an hour and a half away, we'd come back tomorrow if we weren't otherwise engaged! Thanks for such a great meal.
Very professional with exceptional customer service. Always willing to help with request. Very clean and good is amazing: Full of flavour and choices. One of the best Caribbean restaurants around in London. Would highly recommend.
Being greeted by 2 smiling ladies behind the counter pretty much set the tone for my experience at this place. I ordered the stew chicken, curry crab, a portion of jerk wings, rice and peas and plantain. The food was delicious, very well balanced. The vibrant colours and presentation matched the fantastic flavour. You can really tell that the chef really cares about his craft. Definitively worth trying if you’re in the area. You can dine in like I did (but it’s limited seating) or take a trip for takeaway or ordering online. Very happy tummy!
